I actually have a lot more people not playing than I realised... I listed Lucas and Conca as my emergencies, and I actually need to play one of them on the interchange, meaning Lucas' lower 63 comes in. So I say to myself, what would I prefer? Matera scoring a likely score of 50-90, or Conca's 75? In the end, I wanted Conca's score, so all 3 of my emergencies should come in.

Unfortunately our young Ruckman was beaten with a 55

We had a player start sub in Claye Beams only managing 33

Minson very impressive for the Pumas, Wallis slow early but built in to the game sees us continue on strongly. Also looks like the decision to swap Armstrong and Roberton around has worked well with Armstrong named sub :)

Tomas Bugg was quiet today and managed 70 SC points, we are confident he will work his way into the season!

Sam Reid in a dominant team did little to impose himself but still kicked 2 goals but for only 67 points! We are hoping he steps up this year and becomes a solid WXV player!
