A positive spin on Lueys latest setback

Everyone is going helter skelter trying to organise their structures in the final week due to Luenberger sustaining yet another injury, but I for one have only found positives coming from it.

Since putting in the set and forget combo of Cox and Ryder and moving Rowe to the forward line I have been able to bring in another mid price forward which is sorely needed with the amount of unavailable rookies, yet something I couldn't do before due to having Luenberger in my team. I'm annoyed I missed out on getting Maric but in the end I have chosen Cox and Ryder for flexibility, so if a fwd or a ruckmen start tearing the place apart I can trade them in using their dual positions. Even getting Rowe in the fwd line is purely a strategic move for flexibility - I don't think he will play that many games - but it takes away a rookie spot that may not have had great js, scoring potential and, most importantly, the flexibility that Rowe gives me (of course this will only work if Currie actually plays so one of Ryder or Cox can move to the forward line).

Is anyone else finding Bergers injury concerns as wonderful for their team as I am?

Rowy

I was trying to find a good cheap ruck option, but lock and load and then the mid priced Fwd is a brillient idea. :)

Exactly! If you have a sole ruck premium you're looking at getting in just make sure they are dpp (cox, Ryder, roughie) and you're set ;)

Most sense anyone has made of the situation! Get 2 premium rucks and a mid priced forward. There are way more good mid priced forward options around than ruckman

Ricochet

I've gone Mummy and Bellchambers with Cox in the fwd line

shhhhhh jeez i had this all set up as soon as trhe news came through he wasn't right lol let everyone else go the Currie or mid priced ruck route :p

Is 2 mid priced forwards + macaffer too many though?

felsty

not necessarily.. if i could find the cash i would love to upgrade one of them as its my pet hate to go in with blokes around the $250-300k mark that wont be a keeper but is way too much for a rookie, but i cant and honestly my side is looking quite strong regardless

Count your Premo/Keepers pre-Burger and post-Burger, do the same with Rookies and Mid-pricers. If you have the same amount just juggled around then you are no worse off.
