Rookie list upgrades - When??

Hi Legends,

Does anyone know how the rookie list upgrades works? Is there a lodgement date for those clubs with senior spots on the list available? Can a club elect to do them at any time or is there certain restrictions (other than LTI upgrades)?

Of obvious interest is the timing around upgrades and rolling round 1 lockouts. Will we know before the bounce of match 1 whether the likes of Goodes/K.Mitchel etc etc will be elevated.

Is anyone confident enough to put an un upgraded rookie in thier squad?  thoughts
