Carlton players get under pressure Nails and revert to their old shower game style, don't blame Mick, did you watch the game, did he look like they were playing the game the way he is coaching them to?

Like Ross at Freo it will take a season and a bit to get them to play his way and like freo when they do they will be damn good.

to be honest the whole team apart from lucas and gibbs look underdone? unfit? un matach ready?

kruuuuuuze was solid, but playing against a kid in the ruck he should have been.

Watched the whole thing Colli, Blues just all want to run 20 metres out, was bloody terrible.

they were ok for 3/4 but yeah the game style/plan is nowhere near where Mick would want it. But Brisbane were very good.

Blues are not defensive enough, when a team is on fire like Brisbane were for large parts of the game they just get cut to shreds, they can attack fine just struggle to defend, Mick will fix that, but looks like he has a long way to go....

Played well. Hanley had a great game. Karny the mungrel said hello FF world look at me haha as if he hadnt done that already.
Zorko cemented why i picked him when i was picking Rocky in the Fwd line 2 months ago. Alot of players to watch this game Kreuzer had a good game and looks an option of late, had a couple of good NAB games. For me out of all i wanted to see Moloney was the let down but thats harshon his NAB form buts that how well all the other options were going. Brisbanes skills were good tonight worked their way back  and ran away with it, al you can ask for Mick conceeded early subbing Judd and Ringo was getting in the que for his $3.55 odds, well done mate. Brisbane were good tonight big improvers, Mick's gameplan wasnt on show very well tonight and gotta say the Lions looked fitter at the end.

Yeah I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion on Moloney in this thread. His night was interesting, hot, cold, then finished semi-strongly. Bottom line, I still don't know whether to lock him in, but I heard Bruce in the call say that Black won't be back for 3-4 weeks... that means he will miss more than Round 1? Maybe Moloney gets more game time that way...

Moloney had 11 clearances , there is absolutely NO QUESTION he is a LOCK in the Lions midfield, he is there to win clearances not look pretty like rocky or rich on the outside. What he was supposed to do HE DID and OUTSTANDINGLY.

11 CLEARANCES = HUGE.

may not be a fantasy elite - WON'T BE but should score well and make us some money, and black or no black moloney is in the lions team EVERY WEEK.

Was Rich the most deserving? Probably not haven't checked the stats but he was influence around the guts and his kicking was good.

Like you said those guys played very well but there wasn't 1 stand out player over the 4 quarters

But a wins a win  :)
