watson just seems so consistent, but so does boyd......however the dogs will struggle big time this year, it must affect boyd score a little tiny bit no???

Dogs didn't exactly set the world on fire last year either, I personally would go Boyd super durable and consistent over three years regardless of the dogs spot in the ladder, Watson would need to improve again on last year albeit a very small amount per game. Still wasn't this watsons first 110 plus year? .

Boyd scores well no matter what. In his games where the Bulldogs lost by 40+ points last year he scored 116, 146, 106, 70, 132, 131, 94, 115, 102, 100, 131 and 125 for an average of 114.

Throw in some big scores when they actually are competitive and you've got a winner. Nothing wrong with Jobe mind you.

Why is he kicking more goals?

He will rest forward more often than not IMO, He won't come off the ground as much as he did last season.

Boyd for me. He's just a proven performer and with everything thats going on at Essendon atm he gets the edge (just) over Watson for me.
