Some really promising talent for under 500k, who do you think can really step it up and hit 105-110 this year?

Anyone else under this price who you think could step up big time?
this will be my M5 position, less i use the more i can upgrade LeCras. However, i want to be able to potentially keep this player as a M7-8 by years end so dont want to be giving up too many points to upgrade a bloke who may get do quite well himself.
Have exactly 501k to spend, LeCras is currently F 4

Mundy, second would be Fyfe. I'd try to get Heppell in defence at some point, no point in having him in your midfield when you could have someone else averaging 10 points more.

Im personally really liking Barlow, hes going under the rador on everybody and i think hes over the injury and set for a big year.

I agree with you GoLions16, i could easily start him mid and then swing him to back when im ready to upgrade.
@bchris: i worry about barlow's disposal, he can find it no worries but he can also butcher it.

very true. Barlow is a great contested possession player, though his kicking disposal at times is pretty average. Is more suited for DT. If he has fixed up his disposal is average could go closely to 110. tbh at times even fyfes disposal isn't top notch, so i would jump on barlow.

Vich

what about someone who should smash it early???
Someone from the saints or swans
Montagna/NDS/Hayes....McVeigh/ROK/Hannebery
Surely a couple of them will get off to a better start than some ultra/uber premiums   :o

I really like Montagna, but he would need his role reverted back to 2009 where he averaged 125. Any chance of that happening this year?

Either way I'm backing Mundy. Fyfe may have a better average to begin with, but I don't believe he'll make it through the season without complications affecting his scores.

Fyfes scores in 2011:
117,49,139,164,129,71,121,103,58,110,89,108,125,116,138,119,124,80,85,120,104...Average 108
Starting price 2012...$585,700
Fyfe in 2012:
109, 85, Round 3 34inj, Round 5 98inj, 87,104,77,94,151

Mundy's scores in 2011 were similarly impressive. Average 107
In 2012 he finished extremely well but was an 80-90 pt player for most of the year. Average 89

Fyfe for me.

Put Mundy's shoulders on Fyfe and I'd pick Fyfe, but you asked for TOTAL points, so Mundy.

I can't help thinking Fyfe will spend some time out of action.

As far as ceiling goes, Fyfe, hands down.

Ricochet

Fyfe easily. The kid is a gun and will go 110+

i think you hit the nail on the head. agree with this.

@Vich - Dont have the cash for those blokes you suggested, except hannebery, who is definitely in the equation. No one else you suggested is under 500k..
