ladsons whay to expensive to have on your bench ottens= NO and im not sold on medhurst

Yes Ladson is expensive to have on the bench but if you think about it, he is only 50 k more expensive than probably some of the better rookies such as Sheppard. If he recaptures his form from previous years he himself will either turn into a keeper or become a good cash cow. Even if he only averages 60 he will go up 100k. The problem i have with my backline is you have Kennelley, who has never been a huge scorer anyway, Malceski who looks like he is recapturing form but not guaranteed to. Hunt coming back from ACL, and Ladson himself coming back from injury. Im not sold on the idea that they can all play well for the entire 22 rounds so by having them all in the opening rounds I have it covered.

Ottens i disagree with completly. Yes he is comin back from an injury but he does have a few games under his belt now. I think he can get some good form and raise in value and get some good scores along the way.

Medhurst, we shall wait and see. Reports are he is in as good a form as he was in 2008. Im hoping that is the case.

Thanks for you thoughts.

Bestguy,
First of all, Ladson is $100k more expensive than Sheppard.  I'm not sure about your theory on having him on the bench but if you think he's good enough to make you money, why wouldn't you start him and downgrade one of Hunt, Kenelly or Malceski to Trengove or Davis, put them on your bench, pick up Ablett for Pendlebury or upgrade Masten??
