Official confirmation - Although the article says every effort will be made to have right for round 1 will have same doubt.

Just hoping it is the cautious approach but you never know with achilles.

Thoughts on benching him Round one Ringo?

Difficult one Tbag.  Has done all the pre season training required on his managed program but still lacking match fitness.  Article mentions fact waiting for scans to see if achilles is damaged further, If this is the case and out for more than 1 week you may fall behind.

Toying with the idea of starting Cox in rucks, moving Rowe to Forwards and benching Berger if injury is only slight.

I think with him not being ready for the NAB GF due to another setback and games being split into two weeks in round 1 it will be tough to start him. Roughy came back well from an achilles but he played a couple of VFL games. Worst case if he plays round 1 and plays well, trade down to him. Just F's up a lot of structures.

Actually if he does not play, I could go down to Longer or my mystery man who may play later in the week, just kills my Leuey and mystery man theory
