Birchall copped the tag the other night hey? Seems like tagging the half-back is the done thing now? Reckon Duffy being the clear quarterback at freo now may cop a lot more attention? That's a worry... Feel like Hartlett mite b less likely for a tag seen as he spends more time thru the mids.... So many questions

If Danyle Pearce plays off halfback I would of thought he would cop the forward tag before Duffield. Not sure where Pearce is slated to play though.

In the NAB Cup to date, Duffield has just been roaming around the defence and sneakily pushing forward every so often.

ATM though I have Goddard, Gibbs, Hartlett and Heppell - can't find room for Duffman :/

Worries me. Back in the Mark Harvey days he and Broughton were both good options, since Ross Lyon came in last year he dropped Duffield since he felt his defensive side of his game was not up to par even though he was using the ball well and getting touches. It could very well happen again and that has me looking at other options

Duffield or Birchall?

For some reason I just don't think Duff will be consistent enough.  Bich if you had to choose.  I wonder how Grimes will go this year?  Jet of a player when fit and should see plenty of pill being a Melb player.
