Jesse White has been running PB's and Horse has been playing him each week of the NAB Cup. His disposals and contested marks are up and he's been getting some good numbers.

With last nights injury to Alex Johnson (ACL), this means Horse will have to play LRT down in defence. The Swans will need another tall up forward to support Sam Reid until Tippett returns in Rd 12. At 260k (fwd) White could be a unique pick and also take some ruck taps with no guarantee that Mummy will stay on the park.

Thoughts?

If JJK is the same price then i would go with JJK. With AJ's injury it doesnt necessarily mean that White comes in. LRT might not go back, eski can also go back or players like Brown or Lockyear could come in.

Stay away from White IMO

I think it means jump on Armstrong in DT, tearing it up and with Mattner and Smith still not back from injury...   now is his best chance to cement himself in the team...    :P

think he will always be on the fringe but that's what the Swans have him for - DEPTH.

He is flying tho isn't he, a good pick for DT I reckon even if just for long enough to score well and make some cash.

not sure how he will go in SC scoring but if effective disposals he should be ok there too.

well, he's averaging over 90 dt points over the last 2 nab, and that's in game sydney got trashed in.

No to Jesse White, just no. For a bloke his size, he is one of the softest players in the competition. You'll never see him take a contested mark in the forward line. Will be lucky to average over 60, if he gets in the team.
