how do fantasy elite emergencies work?

with emergencies on fantasy elite, can a midfielder emergency cover a donut ruckman/def/fwd?

I believe that is possible, but your lowest scoring bench player would be the emergency.

The remaining players on your Floating Bench don't score, unless your league has activated the "Auto Emergency" option - in which case you'll get the lowest scoring emergency's score above 0 to replace any player on your starting line-up who doesn't play (irrespective of position).

When making your picks, do the starting positions have get filled first before any emergency positions can be selected? It seems to work that way when I attempted to finish my rucks with David Hale, but it put him in the forward line instead as that still had plenty of spots to be filled.
