So Armitage still a chance to take out the B&F, given it is a 7 vote system in the finals?

Indeed, was going to post up Gray as the winner but don't want to jump the gun, we've all seen how explosive Arma can be this season

And who knows, if we manage to luck it out this week even Heppell is a chance, albeit 1 in several billion.

Draftee Report

NAT Pick 5. Tim Taranto (M/F)

"Taranto is a strong selection as a medium marking forward who can push through the midfield. As a forward he can either isolate a small or medium defender deep in the front half, taking advantage of them one-on-one or push up onto a forward flank and deliver precisely to targets inside the forward 50m."

NAT Pick 31. Patrick Lipinski (M)

"Athletic medium forward and midfielder who is a strong mark overhead. Taken earlier than expected but has the attributes to suggest he may be a developable player."

NAT Pick 34. Shai Bolton (M/F)

"Speedy, exciting forward who is at his best with ball in hand taking on the game. He is a damaging player who provides heavy scoreboard impact and always seems to be going at 100 miles per hour, though his disposal can as a result feel rushed."

NAT Pick 37. Josh Rotham (D)

"Athletic backman who is likely to settle down back as a third tall. Rotham possesses acceleration, clean skills, the capacity to shut down his direct opponent and provide rebound out of the back half."

RD Pick 4. Rowan Marshall (R)

Now we can enjoy his 60-70 points per game up forward rather than as a utility/emergency ::)

Fair to say right now I'm just hoping Gray doesn't pop up as a DPP, it'll hurt.

Seedsman being Mid only partially makes up for us losing him for Garlett.  :-X

Excuse you, Torp is on the money here. I don't see "GOAT' in-between Matt and Sparedefender or whatever his name is.

I obviously deliberately kept him in BXVs last year, totally not because I forgot delistings.  :-X

So I figured I'd grab the gun here too. 90+ Average next year.  ;)

Out: Dunn, Frawley, Rosa, Milera, Hipwood, Impey, Moore, Greenwood, NAT Pick 42

So overall, I see us having given up five premium-valued commodities for seven premium-valued commodities - however, those premiums given up include the injury-plagued O'Meara, Naitanui, and Hogan, unproven youngsters Taranto and Pick 5. The incoming premium-values includes superstar Treloar and no players over 30 (Jacobs and Kreuzer are nearing it, but have inflated value due to being ruckmen). In terms of medium-values, we definitely came out ahead - four best 22 players and a pick upgrade for Clarke, a youngster with medium potential, and Bellchambers. For the lower values, I still see some potential in Kelly, Brown, Stretch, and Begley, while we got rid of plenty of poor players leaching on the cap, in addition to some young good footballers with bad scoring potential (Hipwood and Moore).

Draft Profiles

NAT Pick 20. Brayden Ainsworth (M) (Subiaco - Western Australia - West Coast Eagles)
Any club that is looking to boost its midfield stocks should look at Ainsworth. He digs into the bottom of packs to win the contested possessions, rips it out of the congestion and because of his great vision and quality decision-making he will find a team-mate in space.

What separates Ainsworth from the other midfielders are his clean hands, strong overhead marking ability, dominant clearance work, composure even when under duress, elite link-up play, damaging play-making abilities and his capacity to have an impact on the scoreboard.

Throughout the season, he has drawn comparisons to Collingwood’s five-time Copeland Trophy winner Scott Pendlebury and it is not hard to see why. He appears to be playing at a different speed to his opponents, such is his graceful style of play and his enviable evasive qualities.

Without doubt, Brayden Ainsworth is the premier midfielder from Western Australia. His talent, leadership and maturity would all appeal to AFL clubs that are looking to bolster their midfield stocks. The sky is the limit for the Esperance product."

NAT Pick 26. Dylan Moore (M) (Eastern Ranges - Victoria - Hawthorn)
"Small midfielder who isn’t afraid of winning the contested ball. His ground ball numbers are very good and is a big ball winning midfielder. Moore can also push forward and hit the scoreboard. Has a decent jump for a small midfielder which he can show off up forward. He also a very good endurance base but is one of the few players sub 180cm who do not possess elite speed. Is a smart footballer and just gets to the right position to win the ball. Clearance work is super. Best-case comparison: Lachie Neale"

NAT Pick 34. Patrick Naish (M/F) (Northern Knights - Victoria - Richmond)
"Patrick Naish is definitely an exciting prospect for the Tigers. He has the potential to be a very good outside midfielder, however it will take time to develop. Expect to see him start his AFL career predominantly in the forward line before making the move into the midfield. Naish also showed he is a big game player as he lifted his form during the National Under 18 Championships and was played his best game of he season for the Knights in their elimination final loss. He will be a very handy pick up for the Tigers. Best-case comparison: Zac Williams"

PSD Pick 5. Bailey Banfield (M) (Claremont - Western Australia - Fremantle)
"He played as an inside midfielder and half forward for Claremont at League level in 2017 and had a tremendous season, culminating in him winning Claremont's League Best and Fairest award after averaging 24 disposals, six tackles and six clearances per game. Banfield was part of the WA side at the NAB AFL National Championships in 2016 and part of Claremont Colts premiership sides in 2015 and 2016.

A terrific character, highly respected by all and a future leader, Banfield is a pure ball magnet having 20+ disposals in 18 of his 20 League games in 2017. With a strong body and powerful in a contest, Banfield is a first possession player at the stoppage and hard to stop at the clearances. He is highly regarded for ability to run both ways and applies very good defensive pressure."

RD Pick 5. Luke Lavender (R) (Category B Rookie - South Australia - Essendon)
"A former elite junior cricketer and soccer player he has the athletic tools to make it as an AFL player. Standing at 202cm, Luke will improve rapidly in the full time environment, with specialist coaching."

RD Pick 23. Jack Payne (D) (Brisbane Lions Academy - Queensland - Brisbane)
"Jack Payne is an exciting key position defender in the Brisbane Lions Academy who has plenty of future scope. Payne is a developing defender who is equally strong as he is athletic and can play on all types of opposition forwards. For a tall his speed and agility is very good and he is a reliable long kick out of defence. His positioning in marking contests and under the high ball could still use some work, while he could also continue to build his endurance. As a whole, expect the Lions to match a bid for Payne somewhere in the third round with a number of clubs interested in obtaining a developing tall with good future potential."

RD Pick 39. Kurt Heatherley (D) (Sandringham - New Zealand - Hawthorn)
"The New Zealander played four senior games in 2017 and the Hawks liked his competitiveness and marking ability down back. He is still on a learning curve in the AFL system, but the club saw enough of him at Box Hill in 2017, after some deliberation, to offer him another 12 months to further establish himself as a bona fide AFL key defender."

Hellopplz

Where-ever you got that last exert for Naish, they don't realise they are comparing him to somebody who plays a completely different role :P.
