Will be interesting to see if your B & F winner will be the same as your MVP, great work Jukes :)

Dusty pretty much already wrapped up the best and fairest, sits an astounding 7 votes ahead of the pack. Only some really special form by NicNat or Fyfey could steal it. If he plays every game or only misses 1-2, he'll probably get the MVP too.

George Burbury has been promoted to the Moscow Spetsnaz Senior List due to an injury to Shaun Higgins. Higgins can not be considered to play until Round 15 but if returns to football earlier than that Burbury will be demoted to rookie again.

QuoteGEORGE Burbury will become Geelong's 13th debutant since the club won the 2011 premiership when he plays his first game against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 20-year-old was elevated from the Cats' rookie list to their senior list last week in place of Daniel Menzel.

Burbury then continued his good VFL form with an impressive performance against Collingwood at Victoria Park.

"We love the way George plays," Geelong coach Chris Scott said at Simonds Stadium on Tuesday.

"We're really excited that George has been able to work his way up through our rookie list system.

"Twelve months ago, he was so far away from AFL footy it wasn't funny.

"But through hard work and determination, as well as a bit of talent, he's worked his way into our AFL team that's lost one game for the season.

"It's a credit to him."

Mid-Season Review: Part 1

With 9 rounds having passed and 8 rounds to come, it is effectively the middle of the season. The first half of the season has seen great matches, coaching shake-ups, and a super start for the Spetsnaz.

We sit unbelievably 5th on the ladder- percentage out of the top 4! 7 wins and 2 losses to start the season has been a very impressive effort by the team, considering we've played several very talented sides such as Buenos Aires, London, Sao Paulo, New York and Toronto. Another reason this is very impressive is the injury (and suspension) crisis the team has suffered early. Captain and cult hero Nic Naitanui missed the first 5 weeks of the season and was the sub the next; his influence shown by collecting 11 best and fairest votes in the 3 full games he has played, including two occasions of maximum votes. We missed co-captain Nat Fyfe for two weeks through a contentious suspension, star backman Heath Shaw through injury for 3 weeks, fan-favourite Charlie Dixon for 3 weeks, former captain Shane Tuck for 4 weeks, and Shaun Higgins fractured his navicular in round 3, ruling him out for the season. This is coupled with many fringe players missing a couple weeks such as Clarke, Hardingham, Treloar and Murphy.

Round 1 saw us comfortably defeat Cairo by 16 points thanks to a solid effort across the board. Ryan Griffen starred with 138 points in a sign of a great personal season to come, as he was appointed co-captain a few weeks later. With no ruckmen available, we had to play a player out-of-position, making our (so far) tied season high score of 147 even more remarkable.

We came crashing down to earth in Round 2 with a heavy 29 point defeat to the in-form London. We had many very low and disappointing scores such as 11 (Hoskin-Elliot), 41 (Sinclair), 48 (Higgins), 59 (Vickery) and, most disappointingly, just 58 from week-captain Shane Tuck. Not to take anything from the Royals, however, they were very good under star captain Brent Stanton, and it would have taken a very special performance to defeat them. Young stars Nat Fyfe and Charlie Dixon stood tall with 127 and 123, and Angus Monfries knocked in his second successive 100 to start the season.

Round 3 was possibly our greatest victory to date, defeating the Buenos Aires Armadillos by a goal. Young superstar Dustin Martin confirmed his genuine threat with a huge 150, in addition to large scores by Jack Darling (141), Nat Fyfe (129), Angus Monfries (120) and Callan Ward (118). Despite not polling in the best and fairest, Michael Walters continued to rise with a 111. Again we were plagued by disappointing scores; Shaw (51), Fletcher (30), Frawley (23), Higgins (32) and captain Tuck (71) were all unpleasant sites. Buenos Aires currently sit at 4th on the ladder on 7-2 (the same as Moscow), however have scored over 200 points more and have a percentage 14% greater, making this victory all that much special.

To continue our back and forward start to the season, we lost to the currently 2nd placed Sao Paulo Pumas by 20 points in round 4. We had no scores under 50, but none over 106. Treloar, Dixon and Fyfe were the only players to score 100, with Marty Clarke scoring 99. Our captaincy woes continued, with Callan Ward's 90 meaning we hadn't selected a 100+ captain since round 1. Michael Walters scored 111 last week and received zero best and fairest votes, however if he replicated that score in round 4 he would have polled maximum votes!

Round 5 saw us travel to Afghanistan to participate in the Peace Cup against the then-undefeated New York Revolution in what promised to be a make-or-break fixture for the Spetsnaz. Charlie Dixon lit it up to continue his superb start to the season with a 16 possession, 9 mark and 6 goal performance to win a well deserved Jesaulenko/Pyke Medal, with support from Heath Shaw (130), Dustin Martin (115) and Callan Ward (113) as Moscow won our first Peace Cup after a loss last season.

We achieved back-to-back victories for the first time this season in round 6 with a 13 point victory over Seoul. Heath Shaw and Dustin Martin were highlights with 125 each, while Jack Darling (120) and Michael Walters (118) continued their emergence. Superstar cult hero Nic Naitanui returned to action, albeit wearing the green vest, to provide one of the now normal low scores for the Spetsnaz, in addition to Vickery's 30 and another dissapointing captain score of 75 by Callan Ward.

Our winning running continued into round 7 with a convincing 29 point victory over the luckless PNL. Ryan Griffen dominated and earned a well deserved captain role in the team-of-the-week with 33 possessions, 6 marks, 4 tackles and 169 points. Griff was supported by very good scores by Dustin Martin (132) and Michael Walters, who only picked up 3 best and fairest votes despite a very handy 129. PNL's Tom T Lynch was very good for the Reindeers with a 10 goal haul and 165 points, showcasing his future talent in full effect. Captain Heath Shaw almost ended our 100+ captain drought, with a solid 98. Nic Naitanui scored a neat 102 and picked up a best and fairest vote in his first full game back.

We thought our round 8 encounter with the cellar-dwelling Beijing Bears would be a comfortable percentage booster against debutant coaches Master Q and our ex-senior assistant coach Toga. This was not to be, as we ground out a fortunate 15 point victory. Three scores under 40 (Adams 25, Walters 37 and May 37) and a 51 (Frawley) gave us a scare, but our win was earned throughstrong performances by superstar Nic Naitanui (142) and captain Dustin Martin WHO BROKE OUR 7 WEEK CAPTAIN TON DROUGHT with 118!

Round 9 was a game for the ages; Moscow and Toronto are very similar sides who pose many superstar threats; Pendlebury vs Fyfe, Swallow vs Naitanui, Robinson vs Martin. We went in with a team-first ethos and riding the confidence that comes with the confidence that comes with 4 successive victories and came out with a solitary one point victory; a victory for the ages. Superstar Nic Naitanui confirmed his stardom with a second successive week of polling maximum best and fairest votes with a heroic 148, with Ryan Griffen's 136, captain Nat Fyfe's 128 (that's right, two straight captain tons!) and Jack Darling's 125 going a long way towards winning the match.

We currently sit at 7 wins and 2 losses, having defeated the current 11th, 4th, 9th, 13th, 16th, 18th and 8th teams on the ladder and lost to 2nd and 6th. We bounced between 6th, 11th, 8th and 11th following our WLWL start to the season before we started our winning streak of 5 wins, which saw us progress from 11th (round 4) to 5th and percentage out of the top 4 currently. We hold a percentage of 103.36, averaging just under 137 points per week. Our consistency has been impressive, scoring in the 130s 6 times in 9 rounds (scoring in the 140s twice and in the 120s once). When our players develop (superstars such as Fyfe, Martin, Naitanui, Dixon and Ward are still in their early 20s have not hit their peak yet) we should be able to turn these consistent 130s into consistent 150s and 160s.

We hope to continue our form into the second half of the season. We play the 15th placed Wellington this week in what looks to be a handy percentage booster, followed by a very tough test in Mexico. The currently undefeated Suns showed some vulnerability this week, with a poor coaching decision (with hindsight, it seemed a decent proposition at the time) costing Cairo the victory. We obviously do not expect to take the four points, with the Suns averaging 20 points more than us at the present time. However, we would like our team to give our best effort and challenge the Suns for the full four quarters.

We then play two successive home games against Berlin and Pacific. Berlin sit in 7th, 8 points behind us. We hope to win, however this game could be another close one like the Toronto match. Pacific are struggling at second bottom under a new coaching regime, and we would love to destroy the Islanders, head coach Jukes' former side.

Our final four matches of the season come up against Dublin (12th), Cape Town (3rd), New Dehli (14th) and Tokyo (10th), all of these games being played on the road. We expect to beat Dublin and New Dehli, which could give us vital percentage to see us creep up the ladder slightly come finals. Cape Town will be a hard encounter, however with a good all-round performance we could grind out a victory of extreme significance heading into finals. If things do not go our way and are scrapping for spots late, the match against Tokyo could very likely be the difference between a home final in 5th or 6th and an away showdown in 7th or 8th, or maybe even between a second chance in 4th and an elimination final clash.

Our coaching merry-go-round has been a major point of the early part of the season. Toga, who had done much behind-the-scenes work early, left to become co-coach at Beijing in the week prior to Moscow's match with them. Torp left NDT following that round to join Moscow. This move to become co-coach was rejected by the league, which was met by appointing Torp as the (unofficial) co-coach* of Moscow.

Absolutely fantastic read!

The spetsnaz should be finals bound now

Jukes

Cheers os!

Part 2 highlighting the season of individual players should be up Wednesday night. I have my business exam tommorow (easy stuff- much of it is economics (globalisation) which I've already studied and completed the exam for) then maths on Wednesday morning, so will probably work on it Wednesday night and hopefully finish it. It'll contain player averages, total points, games (afl and wxv), b&f polling and a summary of their season so far, it'll be pretty big and take a while so don't be surprised if it's up Thursday morning.

Mid-Season Review: Part 2
Individual Player Analysis

1. James Frawley (D)
AFL: 9 games, 570 points, 63.3 average, 64, 117, 23, 75, 60, 66, 54, 51, 60
WXV: 8 games, 453 points, 56.6 average, 64, 23, 75, 60, 66, 54, 51, 60
0 Best and Fairest votes
James has been poor this season. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 he averaged between 75 and 80 in each year, however has only been producing a 63 average in 2013. To have him not produce a score over 75 for Moscow is disheartening. He will certainly have to product superior form to retain a position in our best XV.

2. Robert Murphy (D)
AFL: 6 games, 536 points, 89.3 average, 106, 68, 67, 111, 87, 97
WXV: 4 games, 358 points, 89.5 average, 106, 68, 87, 97
2 Best and Fairest votes
We have been pleased with Robert's first half of the season. He looks to have grounded himself in as our go-to third backman behind Shaw and Dixon with a high-80s average.

3. Paul Seedsman (M)
AFL: 7 games, 431 points, 61.5 average, 21, 65, 56, 63, 69, 81, 76
WXV: 4 games, 289 points, 72.3 average, 63, 69, 81, 76
0 Best and Fairest votes
Paul has impressed us so far. At only 20, his 62 average, 68.33 without his sub-affected 21, fills us with confidence that he can become a great long-term player with us and provide solid scored as injury-cover in the short-term.

4. Dustin Martin (M/F)
AFL: 9 games, 976 points, 108.4 average, 85, 92, 150, 80, 115, 125, 132, 118, 79
WXV: 9 games, 976 points, 108.4 average, 85, 92, 150, 80, 115, 125, 132, 118, 79
21 Best and Fairest Votes (First)
Dustin has been a phenomenon player this season. He has boosted his average 20 points to a highly impressive 108 points per game, earning himself a leadership position at the club. At only 21 (22 in June) he still has a lot of potential to become one of the highest scorers in the competition.

5. Martin Clarke (D)
AFL: 8 games, 531 points, 66.3 average, 53, 97, 79, 99, 60, 78, 15, 50
WXV: 6 games, 355 points, 59.2 average, 53, 99, 60, 78, 15, 50
2 Best and Fairest Votes
Marty has provided solid back cover early, filling in often for missing stars such as Shaw and Dixon. His average of 66.3 is solid, rising to 74 if you exclude his sub and injury-affected 15. Inconsistency has been an issue, hitting the 90s twice but the 50s twice too.

6. Angus Monfries (M/F)
AFL: 9 games, 811 points, 90.1 average, 112, 102, 120, 82, 91, 90, 69, 77, 68
WXV: 9 games, 811 points, 90.1 average, 112, 102, 120, 82, 91, 90, 69, 77, 68
8 Best and Fairest Votes (Ninth)
We are very pleased with the progress of Angus since he was traded from Essendon to Port Adelaide, improving his average from 66 in 2012 to over 90 this season. His early form was very good, earning all of his 8 best and fairest votes in the first 3 rounds, however his last three games have been lacking. He has proved a solid second forward.

7. Nat Fyfe (M) (c)
AFL: 7 games, 787 points, 112.4 average, 96, 127, 129, 103, 93, 111, 128
WXV: 7 games, 787 points, 112.4 average, 96, 127, 129, 103, 93, 111, 128
17 Best and Fairest Votes (Second)
Nat has very much proven his value to the team so far this season. He has driven himself to almost elite level with a 112 average; it's scary to think that he's still only 21. Nat has repeatedly hit high scores in the high-120s and maintained a low score-floor, both key indicators of a star player and a well deserving co-captain.

8. Callan Ward (M)
AFL: 9 games, 864 points, 96 average, 89, 91, 118, 90, 113, 75, 104, 105, 79
WXV: 9 games, 864 points, 96 average, 89, 91, 118, 90, 113, 75, 104, 105, 79
8 Best and Fairest Votes (Ninth)
Callan hasn't been able to replicate last season's 106.5 average, but his 96 average hasn't been too poor. At only 23 he still has much room to improve as captain of an improving side (GWS), meaning he will very likely be able to post a 110+ average in his prime.

9. Nic Naitanui (R/F) (c)
AFL: 4 games, 432 points, 108 average, 40, 102, 142, 148
WXV: 4 games, 432 points, 108 average, 40, 102, 142, 148
11 Best and Fairest Votes (Fifth)
Nic has started his season in super form, averaging over 130 if you exclude his sub-affected 40. At only 23 we expected him to improve into one of the best players in the competition, but this form puts him in a world of his own. His coach John Worsfold has said he's not even at full fitness yet, meaning we still haven't seen the best of him despite him putting in three 100+ performances in three full matches, including two 140s, including a match winning performance against Toronto which was very heroic.

10. Michael Walters (F)
AFL: 8 games, 717 points, 89.6 average, 90, 100, 111, 81, 51, 118, 129, 37
WXV: 7 games, 572 points, 81.7 average, 45*, 111, 81, 51, 118, 129, 37
5 Best and Fairest Votes
Prior to his unfortunate injury in round 8, Michael was averaging over 97 points per game; a great return for a young man who was sent back to the WAFL by Ross Lyon last season for being unfit and overweight. He's scored strongly in every game aside from a poor 51 against Richmond, and of course the match which he hurt his ankle. Has had two star games, scoring 118 against Gold Coast and 129 against Collingwood, with 4 goals on each occasion.
*Was forced to play out of position in round 1.

11. Will Hoskin-Elliot (M/F)
AFL: 3 games, 123 points, 41 average, 69, 11, 43
WXV: 1 game, 11 points, 11 average, 11
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Will has had limited impact this season for both GWS and Moscow. His only game for Moscow came in the green vest, where he only picked up 7 possessions, 2 marks and a tackle for 11 points. This season may have been slow progress for Will, but we remain confident he can be a very good future prospect for the Spetsnaz. Has played 4 games in the NEAFL.

12. Tom Williams (D)
AFL: 1 game, 47 points, 47 average, 47
WXV: 0 games
Senior opportunities have been very limited for Tom in 2013, due to both injury and lack of form. Tom is uncapped so far this season for Moscow and only 1 match for the Bulldogs. We hope Tom can attempt to achieve senior selection in the second half of the season.

13. Leigh Adams (M/F)
AFL: 9 games, 642 points, 71.3 average, 48, 75, 77, 95, 70, 101, 72, 25, 79
WXV: 6 games, 395 points, 65.8 average, 48, 70, 101, 72, 25, 79
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Leigh has been quite disappointing so far this season. Leigh averaged in the 80s from 2010 to 2012, including 89.9 in 2011, but is only averaging 71.3 in 2013. Due to the injury crisis, we have been forced to field Leigh over the past 5 weeks, for mostly disappointing scores. We hope he can improve soon or he will find himself playing reserves football often.

14. Dom Tyson
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Dom has missed all of 2013 so far after having knee surgery in December. Got through his first NEAFL game last week alright and we hope he can push for Moscow selection in the coming weeks.

15. Jack Hombsch
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Since moving to Port Adelaide, Hombsch is yet to be selected for the Power. He has played 7 games in the SANFL for solid returns, highlighted in his most recent game where he was superb down back for Sturt, with superb work ethic. We hope this form can produce senior opportunities in the immediate future.

16. Ryan Griffen (M)
AFL: 7 games, 805 points, 115 average, 138, 89, 119, 53, 169, 101, 136
WXV: 7 games, 805 points, 115 average, 138, 89, 119, 53, 169, 101, 136
15 Best and Fairest Votes (Third)
Ryan has been a superb performer so far this season. He has hit a very high ceiling on multiple occasions (169, 138 and 136) earning him two sets of maximum best and fairest votes and the captaincy in the team of the week in round 7. At only 26 (27 in July) he has hit his peak and we hope these large scores can continue for several seasons.

17. Adam Treloar
AFL: 8 games, 1497 points, 85.5 average, 113, 71, 70, 106, 50, 106, 72, 70
WXV: 8 games, 1497 points, 85.5 average, 113, 71, 70, 106, 50, 106, 72, 70
10 Best and Fairest Votes (Seventh)
Adam's season so far has been solid without being spectacular, and is following the desired path towards becoming a good player. To have picked up 10 best and fairest votes with only an 85 average and zero scores over 115 is unusual.

18. Jack Darling (F)
AFL: 9 games, 87.5 average, 788 points, 75, 69, 141, 84, 48, 120, 56, 70, 125
WXV: 9 games, 87.5 average, 788 points, 75, 69, 141, 84, 48, 120, 56, 70, 125
9 Best and fairest Votes (Eighth)
Jack has proven himself as our second most valuable forward this season. His only problem is, like many power forwards, consistency. He has a huge ceiling, topping 120 on three occasions, but has fallen below 60 twice and between 69 and 75 three further times.

19. Shaun Higgins (F)
AFL: 3 games, 59 average, 177 points, 97, 48, 32
WXV: 3 games, 59 average, 177 points, 97, 48, 32
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Shaun's season has been soured with a fractured navicular, ruling him out for the rest of the season. In Round one he showed what he is capable of, a solid 97, before an average 48 before his injury in round 3 on 32. We hope he can make a speedy recovery and be back, fit and firing, before next season. Was placed on the long-term injury list prior to round 9, replaced on the senior list by George Burbury.

20. Josh Mellington (F)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Josh has not had any senior exposure so far this season. In the WAFL he has played 7 games for West Perth for 536 dream team points, at an average of 76.57 points per game. We hope he can challenge for a senior debut in the second half of the season and create some competition for our forward line.

21. Shane Tuck (M)
AFL: 5 games, 372 points, 74.4 average, 107, 58, 71, 55, 81
WXV: 5 games, 372 points, 74.4 average, 107, 58, 71, 55, 81
2 Best and Fairest Votes
Shane's season so far has been disappointing on-field. Off-field he's been great for the club, however. His 107 was solid but other than that nothing up until his shoulder injury which ruled him out for 8 weeks. His season has been severely down from his 115 average of 2012. We hope that when he returns he can prove his worth to Moscow.

22. Callum Sinclair (R/F)
AFL: 5 games, 323 points, 64.6 average, 41, 81, 55, 79, 67
WXV: 4 games, 256 points, 64 average, 41, 81, 55, 79
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Callum provided decent cover early in the season for both Moscow and West Coast while Nic Naitanui was out injured. He has also scored 217 dream team points in his two games for Subiaco in the WAFL this season at a handsome average of 108.5.

23. Charlie Dixon (D)
AFL: 6 games, 619 points, 103.1 average, 130, 115, 77, 103, 142, 52
WXV: 5 games, 489 points, 97.8 average, 115, 77, 103, 142, 52
13 Best and Fairest Votes (Fourth)
Charlie has been a revelation for us so far this season. He has really stepped it up in the Gold Coast forward line, averaging over 100 points per game and receiving 13 best and fairest votes despite having missed the last 3 weeks. His season has been highlighted by his 16 possession, 9 mark, 6 goal and 142 point performance in the Peace Cup against New York, leading us to victory and receiving the Jesaulenko/Pyke Medal.

24. Josh Thomas (M)
AFL: 5 games, 352 points, 70.4 average, 62, 52, 69, 104, 65
WXV: 2 games, 134 points, 67.5 average, 69, 65
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Josh's start to his career has been promising. He has provided good midfield cover so far this season. His stoppage efforts have been elite and we are confident he can become an elite player.

25. Jason Blake (D)
AFL: 3 games, 180 points, 60 average, 74, 44, 62
WXV: 0 games
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Jason has struggled to find a place in the Moscow side. We hope he can challenge for games later in the season. Has played two VFL games.

26. Jack Hutchins (D)
AFL: 7 games, 357 points, 51.1 average, 77, 87, 47, 24, 22, 50, 50
WXV: 0 games
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Jack has played 7 games for Gold Coast but been uncapped so far for Moscow. He played two strong games early, scoring 77 and 87, but since then has played poorly, not going over 50.

27. Steven May (D/F)
AFL: 8 games, 446 points, 55.7 average, 60, 60, 65, 47, 68, 57, 37, 52
WXV: 1 game, 37 points, 37 average, 37
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Steven's only game so far for us was to fix a hole in our backline left by injury, in which he only scored 37. He AFL scoring form has been mediocre but we still highly rate Steven for the future.

28. Tyrone Vickery (F)
AFL: 8 games, 563 points, 70.3 average, 94, 59, 61, 79, 95, 30, 103, 42
WXV: 5 games, 305 points, 61 average, 59, 79, 95, 30, 42
1 Best and Fairest Vote
Tyrone's season has been highlighted by inconsistency within his scores. He has topped 100 once and 90 a further two times, but has fallen below 50 twice due to the red vest (only one of which was due to injury). Tyrone is still young, he turns 23 tomorrow (May 31st), so we have hope that beyond this season he can challenge for a more regular spot in our forward line.

29. Josh Growden
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Josh is a good young player but has not been able to challenge for a spot so far this season in either Western Sydney or Moscow. He has played 6 NEAFL games this season after missing all of 2012 with a broken leg for solid performances on the comeback trail.

30. Sam Colquhoun (D/M)
AFL: 2 games, 84 points, 42 average
WXV: 0 games
Sticks has achieved AFL exposure so far in 2013, showing his good footy smarts, but looked lost at times against the bigger bodied opposition. In his 5 SANFL games, he has performed well. In round 6 he picked up 28 touches, 10 marks and 8 inside-50s.

31. Dustin Fletcher (D)
AFL: 6 games, 394 points, 65.6 average, 85, 86, 30, 64, 71, 58
WXV: 5 games, 330 points, 66 average, 85, 86, 30, 71, 58
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Nearing the end of his long career, Dustin has provided significant backline cover and challenged for spots. His first two scores were very nice, but was subbed off in round three and missed the next three games through injury. Has reached 366 games and we hope he can play in seasons to come, hopefully topping 400 games. Him and teammate Dustin Martin are, according to Brian Taylor, the only two AFL players in VFL/AFL history to play with the name Dustin.

32. Jackson Allen (D)
AFL: 1 game, 44 points, 44 average, 44
WXV: 0 games
Has the prestigious honour as being the only player at Gold Coast to share a surname starting with A with Gary Ablett. Only one AFL game for a modest return, doing his job in defence on Josh Green and picking up a few important late spoils, with 6 NEAFL games. In all 6 games he has played well, being named in the best a on several occasions..

34. Kyle Hardingham (D)
AFL: 3 games, 184 points, 61.3 average, 38, 96, 50.
WXV: 2 games, 88 points, 44 average, 38, 50.
0 Best and Fairest Votes
Unfortunately he did not play his 96 for Moscow, only being fielded for his 38 and 50. Has made the transition from a hit-and-miss forward to being a reliable and consistent member of the defence. Has played 5 VFL games to accompany this AFL experience. .

35. Fraser McInnes (F)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Fraser has not received any senior exposure at this stage of the season. He has played 8 WAFL matches for Perth this season, playing alongside ex-afl players such as Paul Bevan, Chance Bateman and Kyle Reimers, for 491 dream team points at a 61 average.

37. Alex Sexton (M)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Alex has not received any senior exposure so far this season. Has played 7 NEAFL games in 2013, winning a lot of the football and using it effectively..

38. Brad Dick (F)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Has pressed for an AFL birth but not been rewarded for WAFL form. In his 4 WAFL games he has scored 267 dream team points at 66.75 points per game, including a superb 16 disposal, 3 mark and 8 goal performance in round 8 in a losing performance against West Perth in a high-scoring thriller, 129 to 152.

39. Heath Shaw (D)
AFL: 6 games, 582 points, 97 average, 100, 49, 80, 130, 125, 98
WXV: 6 games, 582 points, 97 average, 100, 49, 80, 130, 125, 98
11 Best and Fairest Votes (Fifth)
Heath has been superb for us so far this season. Aside from his 49 in a heavy loss to hawthorn, he has scored well on every occasion, topping 100 three times, including two 125+ scores. Has missed the last two games through suspension and then injury but will be back this round.

44. Corey Gault (R)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Has played 6 VFL games, getting gigs all over the ground. The West Australian comes as a Ruck/Forward but has played defence on multiple occasions in 2013 and developed well there. Played on the legendary Joe Daniher in round 9 and was beaten comfortably in the first half but fought back admirably in the second.

47. Jonathon Ceglar
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Has played 8 VFL games. His tap-work has been impressive to his midfielders and has picked up good experience.

48. Caolan Mooney (M)
AFL: 1 game, 51 points, 51 average, 51
WXV: 0 games
His only AFL experience this season was a green-vest appearance against Fremantle, where he was subbed on in the second quarter for fellow Spetsnaz player Marty Clarke. The Irishman has played 5 VFL games including a five goal performance in round 6, showing great dash and ability to break the line.

58. Richard Tambling (D)
AFL: 1 game, 37 points, 37 average, 37
WXV: 0 games
Bling has played 5 SANFL games so far this season. Late inclusion to the Adelaide line-up but did not make the most of this.

ROOKIES

33. Sam Menegola (F)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
After a good 2012 in the WAFL, has played two games for East Fremantle this season for 83 and 52 dream team points. Suffered an unfortunate lateral cartilage tear in his knee in April and will miss 4 months.

36. Eric Wallace
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
The young American still learning the game in the VFL. Injured his knee and missed the first 7 weeks of the season before playing rounds 8 and 9 in the VFL reserves. North Melbourne are said to be thrilled with his development.

41. Nicholas Joyce (M)
AFL: 0 games
WXV: 0 games
Has played 6 SANFL games in 2013. His first two games were in the reserves, his hard work being rewarded by playing league SANFL football in the last 4 matches, including 3 goals in his league debut.

45. George Burbury (F)*
AFL: 1 game, 47 points, 47 average, 47
WXV: 0 games
Played 2 games in the VFL following a foot injury for two great games, which were rewarded with an AFL debut. Kicked 6 goals on debut in an outstanding performance and ran hard out of defence in his second game. Was competitive on his AFL debut against Port Adelaide. Upgraded to the senior list in prior to round 9 to replace Shaun Higgins who was moved onto the LTI list.
