Really the only structure. Maybe rook in Fwds instead of mid pricer. Or drop a fwd prem for a midpricer mid

Not really.
D. 4-0-0-2
5-0-0-3
1-0-1-0
F. 3-1-1-1

Is what I currently have. Note though that the Fwd line is constantly changing for me.\

Karnezis just became safe til the season starts tonight.
So, that is currently:
Rockliff, Robinson, Roughead as 3 premos - and Karnezis as a mid pricer that are set til R1 at least!

Another four spots are still up for grabs - almost certainly four of -- Lee, Monfries, Knights, Varcoe, Byrnes, Patton, Lyons and Macaffer.

I think I want Macaffer at F7 and Lee at F8, as Lee seems the best <$120k option and given the multitude of mid-prices, I want a decent emergency (Macaffer).

Byrnes has not been performing well, so, think I will ditch Byrnes (maybe upgrade Lee to Byrnes later?)

Monfries, Knights, Varcoe, Patton, Lyons vieing for the 2 on field places.

I'm rating the smokey that is Monfries... So, Monfries is in there, pending full recovery by R1 (playing in the second week of R1 helps here!)

Lyons, Knights and Patton vieing for remaining spot.

I only have the cash for Lyons, hence, Lyons.

Will no doubt change things before R1 lockout... but, that is where it is at.

Brilliant, help me out then. This is my first year, so, yea - happy to hear your advice.

Could go -Berger, then Currie to R2 then get a Daw/Gorringe in (depending on money).
Monfires to Zorko.

Fwd line as Rockliff, Robinson, ROughead, Zorko, Karnezis, Lyons - (MAcaffer, Lee)

Would give me Hartlett as D4, McVeigh as M5, Zorko as F4, Cox at F1... a reasonably strong team, if Currie is reliable!

You're over thinking it mate. You need these trades. Some will be necessary early to having 2 pan trades I believe will not work.

I was using 2 trades a week last early with no plans to trading a McVeigh to someone or Johnson to someone early on.
