Hey,
really getting into my SC this year after shocking start causing me to do all trades by rnd 18 last year.

so here's the list, pretty happy with my forward line but a bit shaky on Jenkins

Naitanui Or Cox, thinking with the new 5 meter rule Nat will have a better advantage, however i think cox still has upper body strength. (the taco girl is telling me "why not have both")

happy with my forward line but a bit shaky on Jenkins thinking of trading down for some lowers like Shannon burns(melb)

Anything with the E are finalized subs as i see them being cash cows later on.
Armfield & Kane lucas played greet against Adelaide in the NAB cub and now might be abit to Carlton heavy.

Your input will be greatly appreciated as id love to stick it to my league this year :P

First of all get rid of Nic Nat out of your forward line
Def: Would Upgrade Tony Armstrong to someone like Yarran or Heppell
Mids: Terrible midfield wouldn't have Armfiel, or lucas here or even Varcoe as he should be up forward nee to reorganise your mids
Rucks: Need a premium Ruck so get rid of Vardy.
Fwds: Get Rid of Jenkins and move Varcoe here. Cox or Ryder instead of Nic Nat, de Boer a good POD

Overall team has problems particular in the mids too many mid pricers  give it a 6.5/10

Thanks for the insight, your right about the structure of it was abit all over the place,

Vardy has not yet proven himself, however i do like the possibility to come, a maybe for future trade.

I also upgraded Armstrong to Harry Taylor, now without scarlo i think he'll have a bigger role in geelongs back line.

I do like the looks of Armfield, however i did move him to the forward line after last nights perforamnce hopefully can see great things from him,

Another upgrade is Kennedy, Hopefully he can bring some 2011 form to 2013

got rid of nat and bought in cox hopefully for the better.

Btw still working on the emergencies. just working out the fowards.
cheers

ive got 45k remain,

any suggestions?

de boer and zorko are good, if they are in your fwds. dont try and be too even across the field. the best way is guns and rooks. not so many mid pricers. maybe if your really keen on armfield leave him in the fwds but have franklin walker zorko de boer armfield rookie. then emergencies. then take out kennedy and varcoe and make one a rookie in the fwd and the other a prem in your mids. you will also need another mid rooke after that. wines?

the best rookie fwd options seem to be neade, lee, daniher(dont think he will play rnd 1), mayes, mcaffer.

an option to save money could be vlaustin to terlich. and harry taylor is interesting but try and think you want the players to spend over 400k on to be keepers. ei top 10 at their position come end of season. maube grimes could make that leap better? or someone like that. generrally not key position backmen anyway

also yeah scotland is out so if your only interested in your league it doesnt matter but heater shaw or duffield might be better options?

let us know how you get on.

Thanks, i have had heath Shaw for my last two years, scottland has always been a good choice aswell for the link to the midfield.  im trying to have as many midfielders as possible without sacrificing the obvious forwards and defenders so will bring him in rnd 3 :)

i took your advice on varcoe pretty dismal effort in the nab cub will have to see how that comes about. managed to work in two other prems sidebottom, really wanted to keep Armfield but see a better opportunity in Chapman, since Chapman is in year to year contracts now and really pushing for that second year he will prove himself once again :)

Kennedy's performance the other night was suburb so holding onto that

and Shannon byrnes hopefully will see 22+ games this year, even if he pushes out on avg of 60 he will still see more game time then some rookies. so worth the extra 80k in my opinion.

So how we looking now?

I know my defence could do with some work. :(
