My worst choice was starting with Jacobs over Goldy, had Goldy all preseason but got rid of him for Jacobs a week before the season started  :(
But I'm only ranked just outside 2,000 I've had so many weeks where I've had 3-4 of my premos missing at a time :(
was as high as 300 for a few weeks, but lately I've dropped and think I will drop further during the byes! hopefully league wins now!

Hi Jayman, would love some advice.

Thinking it's time to upgrade O'Meara and am basically deciding whether to upgrade him to Watson.  Will have to do a second trade in order to get there.  The options are:

Option 1:
O'Meara to Watson
Jones to Hrovat
Keep Gawn

Option 2:
O'Meara to Selwood
Gawn to Nicholls
Keep Jones

My team is:

Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Shaw, Goodes, Otten, Vlaustin (Brown, Thurlow)
Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Swan, Danger, Cotchin, JPK, O'Meara, Jones (Viney, Crouch)
Ruc: Cox, Maric (Gawn, Rowe)
Fwd: Buddy, Stevie J, NicNat, Rockliff, JKK, Caff (Staker, B. Kennedy)

So which way to go?

I think Watson is a must, get him in ASAP - dont worry about the price, he is a top 5 mid. Have to pay top dollar! Jones has been a good cash cow - remember that Hrovat has a bye this week but still think he has great JS. Also consider Tom Mitchell.

I've had a few people saying I should consider waiting on him because of my round 13 bye situation.  Do you think getting Watson in now is worth a little extra pain in round 13?  Also what are your thoughts on Martin.  I'm thinking of getting him in for Crouch in the next 2 weeks.  Like Watson for O'Meara doesn't help my round 13 byes, though doesn't make them worse either.

Luke Brown is out this week so I am thinking of offloading him to Birch this week as he is not playing anyway and doing a Gawn to Nicholls trade. Thoughts?

Think you need another couple of mid prems + another back prem. once Goodes/Vlast have peaked. 13 trades should be enough to get you there with several left over.

Think you can afford to do no more trades this week and reassess for round 13.

JPK and Mitchell come in next week since they both have the bye right now, Jobe has the bye next round and should lose some cash so either one of Watson or Swan come in round 14, I will decide who after the bye. Honestly other then Hanley, Hurn and maybe Heppell, all the defenders left seem hit or miss. Hanley will drop in cash over the next few weeks which will be ideal for rounds 14/15. If I was to do a trade for this week, what would you suggest? Nothing is really jumping out at me right now since I am well placed for this week with potentially 20 scoring players (only need 18) and the week after I should have around at least 18 after trading in JPK and Mitchell to replace O'Meara and Cachia.
