I'm trading Hill to Evans this week. But what should I do with the other trade, Macaffer to Mayes or Duffield to Birchall/Hartlett?
Same trades as me mate, but I went Duffield to Birchall

This one is really doing my head in. Should I trade Viney or Brown to Evans?
Cheers
I'd trade Viney. Mainly because I am a big fan of Brown, has great js and proven he can score. He is one of my favourites so may be a bit bias ;)

Getting in Mayes is more urgent. Duff is a premium and should come good. Fingers crossed!

The team as it stands (SC)

Goddard, Gibbs, Hibberd, Jordan Russell, Goddes, Brown (Stevenson, Heath)
Ablett, Pendles, Marc Murphy, Kieren Jack, Moloney, Wines, Viney, O'Meara (Koby Stevens, Kommer)
Goldstein, Leuenberger (Blicavs, Rowe)
Cox, Rockliff, Bartel, Franklin, JJ Kennedy, Dwyer (Macaffer, Mayes)

The moves so far

Byrnes>Dwyer
Karnezis>Mayes
Zorko>Buddy

Cash available $133,400

27 trades left, I can make 2 moves this week.

I am thinking of downgrading Russell this week to Docherty as there are some good rookie mid forwards coming up in the next couple of weeks.

Should I hold Russell or is it a good move? Any other suggestions?

Good move. Docherty is one of the best back downgrade targets we will have all season, must get him. If you think there will be pressing options next then lock him in this round - you wont be disappointed

What I am thinking next week is Viney out and that allows me to get one of Paparone or Kerridge pending form and a spot in the team. If they both look good and I have another forward/mid peak I can do a double downgrade and start my upgrades the week after

Go Birch. Proven performer, consisten and durable. Hartlett is the riskier pick but his ceiling isnt much higher than Birch. Close call but Grant for me 8)

Yes that sounds good. Lock Docherty in now then if that is what you're planning.

Any other moves you think I should go for this week? All my other rookies should make cash. Brown and Russell have the highest b/e's so Russell for Docherty looks like it has to be done before tomorrow. I am not trading Evans in if you were going to suggest that.

Oh well yeah I was going to suggest Evans, scrap that then. Will make a heap of cash surely?

Keep Brown he still has money to make. Good luck!

Everyone is jumping on him over one quarter of football. He plays for a bad Melbourne team which will struggle in a forward line which rarely sees the ball. He might make some cash this week but I don't see him scoring a ton again. Saints are going to play a ton of kids this year. I would rather see how Saunders plays along with a few of the DPP forward rookies in Paparone. Macrae and Kerridge

I expect Vlastuin to come in this week. In two weeks time Brown will be out and Vlastuin in which is part of the reason for me getting Docherty this week.

[/quote I just think Hill wont score much more than 40-60 on a weekly basis and his BE is already in the mid 30s so Evans will make me more money, I also think Birchall is a must have this week and Duffield doesn't look like his going to score any big ones soon.
