I have a Draft tonight at 8pm...first one. Just wondering when will we know what picks we have? Do they come out before the live draft starts? or when it begins?
The names of the 6 teams (up the top) were in an order yesterday but have changed today and I was wondering if that was the order of picks??? 

If you click on live draft the order there will be the draft order. That's if all members have joined of course :)

So under Live Draft, the names up the Top are in order of who picks when?

Strategy no.1, GET ABLETT :P

Lock up a gun mid as a VC. Then I focused on getting a premium ruck - remember DPP is very handy in this comp.

Then trade hard!

Sounds good. So:
Pick 1: Ablett
Pick 2: Premium Mid for VC
Pick 3: Ruck (Preferably Ruck/Fwd)
Pick 4: Def
Pick 5: Fwd or Ruck/Fwd???

Russell - Nice pick. I would prefer to go Tony Armstrong though who is a bit cheaper but I think has higher scoring potential, especially in his first couple of games against Suns and Giants - should get a nice couple of price rises. Could go worse than Russell though, certainly has some merit

Lucas - Really like this pick. Think Mick will get the best out of this bloke and he will finally translate his NAB scores through to the season. Stick with him.

Bartel - Champion - can't go wrong. Nothing more to say really, good pick! Think my man Dayne Zorko may have more upside though. Up to you.

Tony Armstrong... mmmm never been consistent has he though? Interesting... The thing about playing gc and gws early is we might not be able to tell how he plays against great opposition... If I had russell and armstrong killeed it you could always sideways trade before rnd 3
Now I have confused myself :) Maybe I should go armstong and if russell is doing alright against better opposition, then do a swap
Is Armstrong really that likely to be taking Johnson's position in the team or is their other options that might be tested

An regarding byes, I will have upgraded Karnezis by then and going in with 2 Brissie fwds is not a huge deal. They will make up the points over the course of the season.

I already have Wines, O'Meara, Crouch & Viney and have $88k in the bank.  Wanting the best cash cow if it's not to be Mitchell.

Def: Duffield, Grimes, S.D.Thompson (Reilly)
Mids: Ablett, Danger, Tuck, Jack (A.Swallow)
Rucks: Roughy (Giles)
Fwds: Ryder, Hawkins, Bolton (de Boer)

Had Ryder in the rucks, but switched him with Roughy to fit the Bye structure. Currently:
R11: 4
R12: 6
R13: 5

I know you're not asking me but I don't see why mitchell won't get upgraded considering he went well (Except for the last game) in the NAB cup. Other options though include dean towers, sam colqhourn (dpp with def), matt jones, dean kent and koby stevens (priced at $176,600)

I'm sure Mitchell will get upgraded and be named Rnd 1. But if he does not, can you afford Kane Lucas? I like Matt Jones from Melb as well.

I would start Reilly over ScottD and also Swallow over Tuck.

Now, get trading - it is not uncommon to pick up a steal or 2... Try and even up your by structure too! :)
