Love your work Jayman.

What are your thoughts on Matthew Kreuzer looked pretty good in the NAB Cup and the Final??

tor01doc

Yeah, his skin did look a lot clearer, didn't it?

Clearasil, you think?

Hey Jayman,

I had a look at yout team.  Very good side.  I like the inclusion of Armstrong in defence.  I have had atley locked from the start, and i kmow you were a fan of him this year, but his pre season has been only average.  I looked at Yarran but not sold on him just yet.  The other mid priced defender was Jacobs at $309k.  Whats your thoughts.  The pick before Atley in 2009 draft, everyone was all over him in his first year and a ball magnet as a junior, but  had injuries and illness at port, but said to be over his injuries.  His pre season has been good, and fantasy freako has him at 83 points per minute in the games he has played, that's dream team of course, but do you think he can be a viable option this year, as a mid priced defender.

Cheers

Thanks mate :)

I'm a fan of Jacobs and think he could be a good unique pick. He is very highly rated yet I see him in a very little amount of teams so not sure what is with that. Mayne ask a North fan re. his role... But I presume it will be off the back flank

I have considered him for my team actually as I want a 200-400k player as D4. Armstrong, Yaz, Atley, Jacobs are all solid choices

Hey Jayman
What are your thoughts on Brad Ebert?

Two things Jayman

Jordan Russell at D4?
Also Luke Brown from Adelaide - has decent JS but have been disappointed by NAB output. Thoughts?

Cheers in advance
Think there are better options than Russell - he is not a bad pick but I rank Armstrong, Atley and Yaz in front of him, probably have him equal with Ben Jacobs?

I love Lukey Brown, great Norwood boy. Am really liking his job security and rank it as one of the best in terms of back rookies. It is the extra 30k that is keeping him out of my team.

Hi Jayman

interested in your thoughts on 2 low price mids
1 - Chad Wingard
2 - Clay Smith

both at same price - I think both have good JS but who do you think has higher ceiling

Thanks

Magic 7

Tough one but I would have to go Kreuz! Love your Jacobs pick too...

Only said Kreuz due to process of elimination... Mummy is just too injury prone and I would want to get a good few game look at him before jumping on. Goldy was all the rage but has really faded off and been horrible during NAB, can't see him returning to 100ppg form.

Kreuz is starting to enter his prime and build on a solid 2012. Good luck :)

Yep I'm a fan and this he will rise over 500k.

You're right he has looked very good in NAB and I think this is his breakout year. He was good last year but not no.1 draft pick level, I think he will show that potential this year as his body builds and gets some experience under his belt.

Hey Jayman
What are your thoughts on Brad Ebert?
Nice consistent player who will improve in 2013. Still very young and 2012 was pretty much his first full season so I expect a rise in average. Think he is more if a DT'er though and there are better picks in SC... Fyfe and Mundy are cheap as chips plus Ebert's mate Boak is a good chance to go elite. And then you got Stanton and Sloane who are both good picks. Just no room for Ebert - pretty much because his ceiling is not as high as others

Would much prefer Wingard to Smith. Honestly, Clay is not worth considering.

This might sound crazy but Wingard is my tip to be the Harley Bennell of 2013 - 2nd year breakout ;)

Noz is the man to ask for info on what his role may be but if your gut is telling you to go Wingard I would stick with that, think it is a great move. My structure doesn't allow for a mid-pricer like him in my mids though. He represets super reward for those that do have the balls to pick him.

Can you afford Hawkins? If so go the big Tomahawk, really like him as a 2013 pick.

If not I would go about 30k cheaper and consider Dusty Martin. If you already have him take Mitch Robbo who is ready to explode under Mick.

Thanks Jayman - confirmed my gut feeling :)
