Hi Jayman, 

I was just wondering which combo you prefer:

Franklin + Z. Smith + Rowe v Zorko + Bellchambers + Rowe v  LeCras + Maric + Gorringe

A little extra info:
My other rucks are Jenkins & Currie
My other forwards are Cox, Rockliff, Martin, Karnezis, Macaffer, Kerridge & Lee.

Is Zorko, Rockliff & Karnezis too many Lions in the Forward Line?  Is it too much risk leaving out Franklin if he is possible to have in my side.  Basically I'm really happy with the strength and structure of by back line and mid line and don't want to compromise them.  My ultimate goal for my rucks would be to have Maric & Natinui with Cox in the forward line.  But how is the best way to get there?  By starting with Maric am I weakening my forward line too much.  By starting with Franklin or Zorko am I weakening my Ruck line too much?

So confused, any help would be much appreciated.

I would go Zorko and Bellchambers. Think Buddy will drop in price a fair bit at some stage whereas Zorko will start on fire IMO. Also like the Belly pick much more than Smith - think Belly will turn into an elite ruck

What's your thoughts on Kane Lucas? Gunned every NAB cup game and for 215K looks a steal.

Will he avoid vests with the younger guys coming through (casboult, bell, rowe, bootsma)

LeCras: at an awkward price - I will not be starting him. But I can see him being a worthwhile pick at F4 or 5. Was set to rotate through the mids before his injury so he might go back to that role. Tough one, cant blame you for picking him as long as he is around F5 ???

I would probably go him amd Mundy mate. Cant see Shuey really being that much better than Mundy...

1. Karnezis - I consider him a must have, best mid-pricer
2. JJK - At a nice price and can kick a bag, wont be able to fit him in my fwds though
3. Lucas - have liked the look of him so far, I'm tipping a breakout, unique too
4. Byrnes - Solid choice but just dont think he will outshine Karpark or JJK, only consider if cash strapped
5. Varcoe - I would avoid him, has shown nothing in NAB to warrant selection

I think he is a great pick and should be in more teams. Has gunned it in NAB before and went on to have a bad season but I finally think that under Mick, this is his year. Im trying to squeeze him in as M6. I may end up watching his first couple of games before jumping on...

I think its a fine strategy mate especially with Leuey spudding up again - best to go set and forget :)

I heard Koby copped a little niggle yesterday, heard rumour of a hip injury but could be wrong - maybe post on the WBD board?

If he is named Rnd1 I think he is a very solid choice. Nice strategy, too mate :)

Hey Jayman,

I had a look at yout team.  Very good side.  I like the inclusion of Armstrong in defence.  I have had atley locked from the start, and i kmow you were a fan of him this year, but his pre season has been only average.  I looked at Yarran but not sold on him just yet.  The other mid priced defender was Jacobs at $309k.  Whats your thoughts.  The pick before Atley in 2009 draft, everyone was all over him in his first year and a ball magnet as a junior, but  had injuries and illness at port, but said to be over his injuries.  His pre season has been good, and fantasy freako has him at 83 points per minute in the games he has played, that's dream team of course, but do you think he can be a viable option this year, as a mid priced defender.

Also Luke Brown from Adelaide - has decent JS but have been disappointed by NAB output. Thoughts?
