Jayman, would appreciate your opinion on my trading ideas this week.

Option 1: Z Smith & Karnezis to Rioli & Dwyer (Sam Rowe subbed into ruck)

Option 2: Z Smith & Karnezis to Leunberger & Dwyer.

With option 1, I have a gut feeling that Cyril is going to break out in a huge way this season (125 average), want to get him at his cheapest price.
Also with option 1 I have another chance to suss out Leunberger before his first price rise. Have Zorko in my side currently and am giving him one more chance this week to prove his premium status, if he fails again then I'll sub Row back into the fwd line next week and bring in Berger for Zorko. If Zorko impresses well then i'll have to sum up my options.

With option 2 I basically set and forget my ruck division for the season, can possibly sideways Berger if he fades away durinbg season.

I am leaning towards option 1 because I still can pick up Berger next week, just really think Cyril is going to go nuts (ALA Beams/Dangerfield 2012), he has had an interupted pre season and still averaging 117 against quality opposition mind you. Imagine when he is 100% right!!

Hi Jayman, I've gone karny to jjk this week.... pretty happy with that. Whats your take on koby stevens, would it be worth trading him for dwyer in your opinion? Just a little worried about dwyer's js  8)
I reckon do the trade mate 'Stevens --> Dwyer'.

Dwyer has dpp and a negative 100 breakeven. Should keep his spot for another handful of games imo. Should be a great money earner.

With option 1, does that mean you would have a rookie ruck on the field? If so, don't do that option... If not I think Cyril will be a far better scorer than Leuey.i too reckon he is in for a big one - go with your gut :)

Yeah looking at Rowe to start. Rowe will score more than smith, will be only for this week though, I will fit Berger in next week if he goes well.

Thoughts on Tex Walker Jayman? Not sure whether to keep or possibly downgrade to JJK. Forward line includes Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, Walker, Zorko, Dwyer, Neade and Macaffer. 300K left.
I am in a similar situation mate. I am unsure but I think I might flick him. Don't get me wrong, kid is a star and have no doubt he will pump out some good scores but he has a high B/E and there are some other good options e.g. Bartel, Rioli, Monfries, JJK etc

You have a strong forward line so maybe it would be a good idea to downgrade Walker --> JJK. Will be a great move in terms of $$$

Thanks, I think i'll do it. It will allow me to upgrade a rookie to dane swan after round 5 as well

Yeah Caff is not named, Stevens is... Definitely get in Dwyer :)

Caff --> Dwyer in your situation

great trade. Love Hanley, awesome pick.

Only go with Tom Lee though if you have Dwyer, Neade and Rowe. I rank all of those in front of him.

johnny_mac205

obviously need to get rid of Varcoe and with him and money in the back I have $435,000 to play with. on just a quick look my options are:

Chad Wingard (port, 74,300)
Angus Monfries (port, 24,300)
Arron Mullett (Nmelb, 88,200)
Luke Parker (syd, 15,700)
Michael Walters (Freo, 3300)

they all average over 100 and the number is how much i would have left over.

Who do you think would be the best bet?

I like Wingard - finished last year strong, again starting out strong this year, former high draft pick, seeing plenty of the ball (20 or more disposals in each match so far). Even if he turns into a dud, his price should inflate to about $500k in the next 3-4 weeks and you could dump him for a premium or near premium MID. Wish I'd jumped on him last week but did want to see how he went against real competition.

I would go with Gus Monfries mate. It depends if you want a keeper or more a stepping stone to a premium? But I think Gus is the best option there. I'm not sure how Wingard will go in the 2nd half of the year that is why I would choose Gus... Tough call!

Whitfield has to go I reckon, too many other gun rookies who are much cheaper. Next bit is tough, Crouch vs. Hutchins + dpp... Tbh I am in no position to answer that as I have no idea. I am leaning towards Hutchins right now but will let you know when I know.

Blairholt

yeah also pocketing 100k for a rookie who will make more cash. keep up the good work mate love it
