jayman what are your thoughts on Heath Shaw? Had him locked in the back line since 2013 opened. Also got Goddard, Heppel, duffield and Gibbs in the midfield for dpp.

would you take the risk on essendon players considering they might be banned half way thru the year. ie jobe

lock them in mate. All of Goddard, Hepp, Stants, Bellchambers and Ryder have been in my team at some point. Think I will only start with Goddard and Heppell.

I really do not think the scandal should be a factor in selecting our teams - I'm sure a special rule will come in if something drastic does occur...

Doing the same although Watson looms as a late upgrade target if you want a POD late in the season.

For starters, would rather Hepp as D4 over Russ...

Thought you had Hartlett locked mate? I do! Thinkbhe has the highest ceiling of backs around his price tag, only down side are his injuries but with 30 trades I am willing to take the risk.

Waters has had little pre-season so is an upgrade target for me. Super scorer!

Grimes is an interesting one, if you pick him cross your fingers he plays midfield - played there in the last several games during 2012 and scored very well.

I'd go Hartlett mate

Gday mate. I think Shaw will be the 3rd highest back this year after Goddard and Gibbs. Looks pretty unique actually so will provide a nice POD when he starts churning out regular 120s.

Couple of things to consider... But before I start, really like your fwd line!

1. Would move Gibbs back mate, you're missing missing out on getting a quality mid which we all know, score more than backs. If you really want DPP then put Goodes in your mids and get another bsck rookie.

2. GAJ is a lock mate, worth every cent of the hefty price tag - somehow you HAVE to gethim in.

3. Surely there are better options than Kommer...

I think Ivan is less likely to have the drop in price that Buddy will - check out the Hawks' draw early, very tough!

Im presuming you want both these players in your team by seasons end? I would take Ivan now and get Buddy later when he is cheaper.

With Leue unlikely, I have softenend my stance on starting Buddy.

More cash into rucks seems a good aletrnative and Buddy may well have to wait.
