Dusty will either finish in the top 6 FWDs or he'll go up in value enough that trading him for a top 6 FWD will take little extra. Lock for me at this stage, I'd like to think of him as a keeper but I'm keeping an open mind.

Is he a better option than Cox, Buddy, Bartel, Rocky, Cyril, Wright, and Tex?

I'd probably place him ahead of cyril, wright, and tex (cyril only because he is injury prone). Might do better than Bartel, but who knows. However, I would also put SJ and Zorko, (possibly Pav and Chappy as well) ahead of him. Maybe even Robbo. So basically would have him finishing somewhere between 6th and 10th overall. It's a tough call to make.

Yeah good point GoLions.  I threw up a few names and you have thrown up a few more, so we are not short of options in the fwd line.

If he outside the top 6, then I may leave him out.  I would rather pay an extra $50k at the start of the season for someone I can rely on and be confident that i wil not have to upgrade them later in the season.

If i pick Dusty it will be as a keeper, or not at all.  The jury is still out.

Of course not - i am a hawthorn fan and this thing buddy has growing on his face is disgraceful. You are being far too defensive of him :)

Hes Just about my favourite player, and im a Richmond supporter of course I'm defensive of him lol.He's a 21 year old kid that has been in trouble once for sleeping in yet people come up with rumours and drag his name through the dirt like he's a drug addict "oh my friend saw him do this" and "I heard he did this" he's always apparently been arrested or about to be sacked in the next couple of days.. Yet none of it is fact. None of it ever happens or his proven to be true.
Then on top of that people say he's over rated and a lazy footballer like he's meant to be some superstar of the game winning brown lows already at 21. Think the kid needs a break that's all. Really hope he has a massive season and sticks it up a few haha

mate luv dustin martin . but come on man it is funny how u think he needed a sleeping pill if he was only drinking that night before to wake up to get to training I don't think so. there skin folds go threw the roof get on the piss all night .
but it is fact he like to use recreational drugs in his own time. yes buddy n swan are still playing they all do, keep it to themselves  in there own time. none of them are on any strikes because they don't have to test if they admit to why the clubs are in arms n legs about it

I personally think they should be left alone all great players for there club long as there not doing it in public or there form drops don't have problem with it.

had martin last two years in supercoach ! don't wanna miss the boat when he finally rips it but scared to pick him this year with the extra trades maybe. 
I do remember everyone saying last yr zaka martin or danger . 
Dangerfield he went from 100 to 120 in no time!!!!

You can tell someone is a White Goodman by the way they play? What a load of crap. The way people are on the football field is completley different to the way they are in real life. He is shy and quiet off the field, the opposite of on the field. Barry hall belted people every second week on the field but is well spoken and a gentleman off the field so thats just a stupid statement.
