Untrue, he consistently played well every second week lol.
Martin often sat on 60-80 at half time and then finished under the ton so it is only a matter of him finishing games off which I'm sure he will this season.

As far as your "2 strikes" comments go.. Did you hear that rumour off the same person that said he was going to be sacked by the club like 3 weeks ago  ::)

Yeah that's one of the million stories that have been put up and laughed off by the coach and himself. He has even considered taking legal action on the people spreading the rumours so I doubt very much that its true.
Why would he deal ice or any drug? He would be on a fair pay packet as it is, don't think he needs the spare cash. I can believe he is a bit of a party animal but I don't buy these sort of rumours at all. They have been going on since his career started.. He's still playing

yep, but in message board terms it plays. i was just trying to say that the person i heard it from is a credible enough source, but not credible enough that he works for the afl or asada or whatnot and would know beyond a shadow of doubt.

Well you don't know the kid so I wouldn't have thought that was a judgement you could accurately make.
Separate fact from fiction before casting a judgement over someone. He was guilty of taking a sleeping tablet and missing training. That is the only thing he has ever been punished for. The rest is rumours of what he has done and does and they have all so far been laughed off

Yeah and the credibility of people at the club is less than the hundred rumours we have heard without anything happening to him?

that's a good point, it's probably fair to say it's somewhere in the middle. i doubt ppl are just conjuring things out of thin air, but then they've probably been exaggerated a lot.

Yeah and He's not the only one. Swanny and buddy cop it every week as well yet they are both still playing and 2 of the best players in the game so until a fact comes out I think everyone should just enjoy their footy and not bother getting sucked into rumours. Martin will have a big year, just watch ;)
