Please let me know what you think. I have decided against Ablett until about Round 6. I still have about $180 000 left in the bank....

Ablett - 740k
Swallow - 580k
Money in the bank - 180k
Get Ablett. NOW!

Def - Strong, can't fault
Mids - Not sold on Whitfield. Quite awkwardly priced for a rookie.
Rucks - Risky but could pay off with Sydney's draw being easy early on
Fwds - Good

Kerridge no good as foward 6. Mccaffer i think would be better.
Mumford is risky .

180k is alot of maoney to have in the bank. Would definately be making a couple of upgrades, either Swallow to Ablett as said above of go for a less super prem as in Cotchin or Selwood and then bring in Someone like Byrnes Knights or Karnezis in to your forward line to add a bit more depth. Other than that really good. do need to use your money though if you do want to start the year off well.

My main concern is that your F4 - F8 all a bit risky.

Need to put more money up front. Too much in defence given the quality of def rookies that are around.

Ablett.

So more money forward and grAblett!

Def: The only change i would make here is to replace Colquhoun with Stevenson
Mids: Whitfield is a little expensive probably better off with Lonergan If you want Ablett obviously Swallow will be the one that is upgraded but then you lose a unique midfielder.
Rucks: Mummy is a bit of a risk.
Fwds: Need to see how Kerridge goes tonight before inserting him into your team. Little weak at F4

Overall First of all use the money to upgrade to ablett. Downgrade whitfield & Upgrade Mummy to Jacobs otherwise look for a way to get a better F4 I give your team a 7/10

Okay, made a few changes from the advice given. Lowered my backline a little for extra cash - (thinking about the lack of points delivered there even on a good day + better rookies down there..yes I know I don't have Goddard!)...made a change of rookie to the front (MacAffer), upgraded to Ablett, kept Swallow for POD, upgraded to Jacobs from Mumford, still think the forward line has some money to be made out of Varco but upgraded to Walker....only $37000 left. Is this an improvement?

Much Better team now with Ablett in the mids and a Stronger fwd line with Taylor Walker there.
