Brisbane still has a vacancy for a rookie but which one out of these would you promote:

Justin Clarke - Has looked good in defence when played
Sam Michael - Player of the NEAFL Final last year - Solid in Ruck and has been shown in NAB cup can play back or forward.
Steven Wrigley - Impressed in the three games he played last year.
Callum Bartlett - Has had a very interrupted 3 seasons since being drafted with Lions first pick in 2009 draft. Strong mid fielder,

Interesting choice for the selectors but I would probably promote Michael giving another tall (199cm) option either end of the Ground and an additional ruck.

Who would you promote.

Have to agree back up ruck fwd back utility

Michael is a gun of the future, but I don't see him getting many games, with Burger and Longer, but if Burger was to fall, he would have to be promoted. I think that Wrigley has the biggest chance of getting promoted.

I would love Michael to be promoted though.

Brisbane have promoted defender Justin Clarke to fill their vacant position on the senior list.

"Justin Clarke is a tall and quick rebounding defender with terrific speed for his size (2.97sec for 20m at the State Draft Combine in Adelaide) and a long, penetrating kick. He is a star in Country South Australia who also played with North Adelaide in the SANFL."

Little surprised he got the nod over Michael but both played well in the NAB cup.

My boy didn't get it  :( oh well, good to see Clarke off the rookie list.

Interesting that Clarke got the promotion. I guess Martin impressed enough as a second ruck and with Longer as good backup as well, they felt they didn't need to upgrade him/
