Decided that i was going to spend roughly the same average on all areas of my team. So far it looks like this
AVE Back Price: $351 163
AVE Mid Price:  $332 360
AVE Ruc Price:  $283 550
AVE Fwd Price: $333 110

6K left over (Average Price include Rookies on bench)

Please give me honest feedback. The only thing im really worried about is not having a permanent captain for each week

Not really sure why. Just wanted to do something different. I got tired of playing other teams and having only 2 players different out of the whole team.

Also thought that spending on average players across all areas could deliver me a pretty constant and good score.

Who knows if it will work but its worth a try

can I suggest you place your rookies first then re calculate your average number at least... 8)

Unique idea but surely you'd have Leuy in your team with this sorta team?

lozza71

Lets be honest you may have discovered some players who will take off this year.
However a good balanced side also has players who over the years hsve scored very well.
You dont have a good balance of ability in your team. Or the pkayers thst are truly gifted.

Averages without including rookies

Def: $428 600
Mid: $385 187
Ruc: $437 450
Fwd: $413 716

Cheers

U did ask for honest feedback. You wont win with this strategy. Go back to the drawing board.
You can win with having a good solid base. Not this flimsy base.

bkp130

Just out of interest why do you think this wont work? Can you elaborate? im just curious and after some constructive criticisim thats all

ill admit it has flaws but i think overall it could be a good solid team all year around

You need to fight fire with fire. Most teams will have ablett. Pendkebury a swan. Gibbs a goddard.
Franklin a cox a rockliff. Reason being is these players consistently score well.
So you match them with there scoring. Then throw in some players that you already have in your team.
These are smokeys players no one else chooses but may score well.
Like watts. Atley. Greene. Obrien. Lower.
This may work. But you need a level playing field to begin with.
