Hey guys Nab cup is looking good ... thought i would throw up my team and see what you thought so here goes.

Mids
Swan, Ablett, Beams, Murphy, Zorko, Ball, Crouch, O'Meara. (K. Mitchell, Viney)

Ruck
Cox, Luenburger. (Rowe, Curry)

Rockliff, Roughead, Martin, Krakouer, Byrnes, Macaffer. (Stringer, Kerridge)

Just looking at these rookies im hoping they can produce but i guess its all about game time.

there will most likely be a few eye brows raised over Tambling. Reason behind this is adelaids back line has a few injuries and im lookin at it as a brake through year for him ... in 2009 he averaged 80 something and 30 something every year after that but i think its a risk worth looking at when he is in his 9th season and only 200,00 ... might pay off might not but he can be sideways traded for a rook.

Also krak is a question mark atm ... might look into down grading him just before the season but then again i might risk him as well ...

anyway any input is great and cant wait to see what you guys think

Get Zorkz fwd. Ball>rookie and get another premium mid or back. Bling is dicey for round one I reckon.

Better options than Zorko in the mids. It's a waste having him there IMO.

Having DPP fwd's in the mids is frowned upon.  :P Like you wouldn't dream of having Godd in your mids....

As for Ball, he hasn't played any NAB's. And at his price it's a lot to pay for a bloke you haven't seen, to gauge whether your money is well spent or not.  ;)

Ok I can see your point with ball now ... sound suggestion ... cant really see a better option for zorko atm cosidering id like to hold onto money to upgrade a rookie mid season ... I mean I know alot of people frown apon non pure mid in the mid but zorko should do well ... im going to the game this sat so I'll watch out for him and see how he goes ...

Stringer is injured. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-03-01/bulldogs-v-hawthorn-injury-story and missed all last year with injury http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-03-02/stringer-strung-out-for-a-month might be back for Round 1, especially since they play in the second week.... but, such an interrupted pre-season, having injured both legs now... Varcoe is on fire and got top of his team for DT points.

Pendles is considered a strong top 3 chance, and is $30k cheaper than Beams.

Ball hasn't been playing, and Wines is considered to be one of the elite rookies this year. Could easily make you $250k+

As far as ZOrko.... everyone does keep going on about not having DPP in Mids.... but, if you don't have any, how can you use DPP links! Unfortunately, I don't have a link from Midfield :(... but 5 Defs are links to mids and 3 Fwds to mid (and three ruck/fwds). However, if you did, you could look at -Stringer +Zorko. +Fyfe

Krakka I just don't know enough about, as he has not been on my radar... so, not many comments to come there!

Hell, if you do some of the other trades, you could do +Wright, Dangerfield or +Scott Selwood.
