I like Jack in the midfield. Swans players should score well opening couple of rounds, so 2nd team for me. What do you know bout Kommer?

Don't know much about Kommer, but watching him in the NAB Cup he looks the goods... will have to wait and see..

Fwd line is way to weak given the dearth of fwd rookies this year. I'd strengthen that.

have a bit of a man crush on Erski as Swans fan, hard to see where to get the money as I have 6 really good MIDS... maybe downgrade 1 to upgrade my forwards??? OK how about Murphy out for Luke Parker , Kennedy out of forwards for Franklin and Macaffer out for Lee. :P huge fan of the Swans easy start...

If I take out Swan for Watson it gives me the money to change a forward rookie to Kennedy and put Macaffer on the bench... and leaves me with $69,100 for upgrades later or Harbrow for Hanley and then Kennedy for a forward rookie leaving $64,300 in the bank...
:P too many thoughts and possibilities..

BACKS:
Solid backline. No complaints.

MIDS:
I noticed O'Keefe was in all your teams. I too was thinking of taking him for a long time, but decided to go for JPK instead. It could pay off for your, but I'd recommend trading out O'Keefe after the Swan's easy runs finishes. Also I think there's better value under 500K like Fyfe or Mundy. Rookies are good, though.

RUCKS:
This looks fraught with danger to me. Very risky relying on one of those Rookies to take R2. There's talk that West might get up for Rd 1 which will limit Blicavs, Goldy will definitely play limiting Currie, and Rowe showed a bit in NAB but the blue's have plenty of big men in stock. You've got Cox in your forward line who could swing in but that relies on one of your forward bench playing, which looks doubtful also.

FOR:
It's a good forward line. Don't quite trust Kennedy for mine. I think he'll be a pretty up and down scorer, capable of 80s and 90s but also 50s. Hopefully he can still increase in value. I'd trade Bartel-> Stevie J in Rd 2 as he's set to kill it this year.

I know you're a swan fan, but you might just be putting a bit too much faith into the Sydney old guard: Bolton is 33 with a dodgy knee (rhyme!) and O'Keefe is 32. Don't get me wrong; they're both all class, but it is risky taking these older bodies who could break down at anytime in the season.

Anyway, it's a nice team; enough good unique points, I'd just reconsider putting a bit of extra cash into your Ruck stocks. At least save enough cash so you could upgrade one of your rookies into Leuenberger if he's named for Rd 1.

thanks Jamfrank for your opinion, I think O'Keefe will carve them up this year.. how about this then .... :o all the same except :

MIDS. O'Keefe/ McVeigh or O'Keefe / Jack. I am a huge fan of Sydney's easy start.

RUCKS. Maric, Smith, Currie, Naismith.

this leaves $43,200 / $6,900 in the bank... :-\ and has strengthened up the rucks....

Not the best of starts having Goddard, Duffield, Jacobs and Cox and they all under performed... so have made some changes and would appreciate opinions and advice... :o
