Stacked midfield - rest too weak?

MIDS: Ablett, Pendlebury, JPK, Cotchin, Murphy, Whitfield, O'Meara, Viney (K Mitchell, Crouch)
RUCKS: Kruezer, Luenberger (Rowe, Currie)
FWDS: Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, D Martin, Varcoe, Macaffer (Neade, Lee)

$31,200 remaining.

Had to Drop Atley for Staker, and Jacobs for Kruezer to turn Embley into JPK.

Thoughts would be much appreciated!

Sorry, Terlich has replaced Staker. Any advice welcome!

The only weak link is Varcoe I'd change him for Byrnes/Knights or even J Kennedy (he will score better but consistency might be average).
Other than that the team looks great. 9/10

Good team but I like an extra half a defender in place of the 5 top mid.

But 14 ish premiums is as good as it gets - 8.4/10

watch out with whitfield sheedy said will only play a couple of games this year. Better ruckmen than kruzer IMO

yeah the only issues i can see is kruzer and whitfield..
i would trade whitfield down to a wines or lonergan and see what money you have left over to upgrade kruzer, need someone a bit more proven i think if you are using luey

Agree with above comments. I wouldn't trust Kreuzer. Backs a little weak but if rookies play should be OK. Forwards good mids awesome.

Personally i'd look at putting Cox in the ruck and get a Zorko,Wright,Bartel or even Walker up fwd.

Thanks guys, wise council.

I have downgraded Whitfield to Colquhoun and upgraded Kruezer to Jacobs.

I have $87,500 remaining to use. I am thinking of the below options.

Option 1: upgrade Martin to Tex Walker, Zorko or Bartel (or any fwd from $560k or less)

Option 2: downgrade Martin to Byrnes, and upgrade Pittard (or other def rookie) to Heppell

Which option do you think???  I may have to post a poll....

Nice team mate. What I suggest you do if you like is tie midfield is too heavily stacked with premiums. I would look at downgrading one of them o perhaps Daniel hannebery and then upgrade varcoe to unique player like Siposs or Monfries in the forward line. Other then thy nice team good strengh and look forward to hopefully challenging you in my league.

I have no doubt if the game was called SledgeCoach Will Minson would be a super premium, unfortunately for him though, it's not.

I'd change Varcoe to Byrnes regardless you'll average and extra 10 points here.
There's nothing wrong with Martin although walker would be better.
How much money do you have left? Could you up grade pittard to Yarran with what you have?

Nice team i have also gone 3 defender premor's. Stick with Varcoe imo. (exactly the same forward line as me lol)

8/10 maybe drop Duffield to Heppell/Suckling/Grimes for extra cash nice team mate.
