The key question in going with this structure would be if you believe that 2 of currie, daw, witts, gorringe etc (Isn't one of currie and daw going to be playing every game anyway?) will have a better combined js and cash generation then a forward rookie. With neade and lee being the most common picks for fwd rookie's atm and both don't look like they will get regular games let alone average above 50. As most people look like they are going with a 4-1-caff fwd line this strategy would save the ~130k spent on the midpricer.
The thing to remember with Daw is that although he is listed as a RUC in DT/SC he is competing with the forwards at North Melbourne. Considering the relative strength the kangas have on that line, I reckon there is bugger all chance of him getting cashcow-worthy game time. Currie, OTOH, is definitely in the running for North.

Daw has done some ruck work, but, it is certainly clear Currie is #2 ruck at North. No reason CUrrie couldn't play 20 games.

Except for the fact that Scott has indicated they wont be playing 2 rucks together..

Justin Bieber

I don't really trust Leuy so making my top ruckman is not going to happen.

Um this has been discussed on several threads regarding currie, such as here http://www.fanfooty.com.au/forum/index.php/topic,73653.0/topicseen.html

This article briefly notes it http://www.nmfc.com.au/news/2013-03-08/goldstein-not-on-the-outer
