Def: No Problems hopefully Waters has just as good a year as last year and plays every game.
Mids: Good Choice of Unique picks in Boyd & Jack.
Rucks: Good Selection in Jacobs
Fwds: Petrie is a good POD not so sure about Broughton.

Overall Strong team well banced i give it an 8.5/10

Some of your premium picks are interesting, Boyd for example is a gun but a DT jet i would look at a more supercoach friendly alternative. However there is nothing wrong with having a few PODS

As for a Luenberger replacement the cupboard is fairly bare but i imagine if Luey is hurt Billy Longer will get games, Cameron
Pederson is another with reasonable JS other than that though for Lueys price it is tough, Possibly Gorringe from suns.

As a general note your team is fairly well balanced but debatable your mids is a little week. Most teams going with a 5 prem midfield or a 4 and a mid pricer. Also worth looking at a ruck rookie with fwd/ruck DPP Rowe/Sinclair/McBean that way if Luey goes down you can swing Cox into the rucks. Heaps more Fwd options around Lueys price bracket than Rucks

Which is better:

Mid: 4 prems, 4 rooks
For: 5 prems, 1 rook

OR

Mid: 5 prems, 3 rooks
For: 4 prems, 2 rooks

Because I was planning to take out Broughton for Macaffer, then have a prem in the mid instead of a rookie. Opinions?
And whats POD?

Thanks. :)

Ringo

POD is Point of Difference and refers to players are not in the Standard type teams.  If you read a few of the threads you will see commonality amongst a number of teams. eg in your team Waters, Boyd and Petrie would be classed
as POD's as I have not seen them in many teams.

With regard structure there is no right or wrong structure just ensuring you have a structure that will return at least 2100 points each week. So look at what you think players selected in your selected options will average and go with the higher. If very close then consider where can I upgrade the quickest. Then go with gut feel as it is  seldom wrong.

Hope that helps.

@Ringo, thanks I really appreciated it mate. :) and i was just asking other people, on what their opinion is on which structure is better. Thanks, anyways. :)

This is better:

Mid: 4 prems, 4 rooks
For: 5 prems, 1 rook

I think.

Especially this year with apparently a lack of forward rookies.

PS Macaffer is not technically a rookie!  ;)

@tor01doc, So do you reckon my team is ready to go?

Waters / Boyd / Petrie -  :(

Broughton - maybe but I prefer others - even Watts if you want F/D DPP.

Leue - hopefully will play.

I'd get Pendles instead of Boyd for sure.

Rowe into R3/4.

i like the MID - 5 prem, 5 rooks & FWD - 4 prem, 2 rooks presonally.
yes Macaffer isnt a rookie, but he is rookie priced.

Pendles is a MUST in all teams. underpriced and will go 130+

yes, will play and if Leuey goes down you can swing Cox into the Rucks as cover & Daw is injured.
