Any worry about Jack Redden, one tackle in two weeks :-\

Also Fyfe, wtf?

I know it's pre-season and Walker's form does not bother me, but these other two any worry?

Or do we count the so called "nab" as nothing and stick with our plans?
[/quote

Why would you skip over Texas Ranger's performance. I know he's one  of your favourites t-bags but he looked lazy and maybe, just maybe, no Tippet could be a factor. I for one, was'nt impressed. You take nothing out of Tex'es game,  but Reddens 1 tackle is an issue. I  honestly dont want to start anything, but, really, why wasn't Tex a issue?

tbagrocks

Ok Sure I admit the spud leaving is an issue, and he was very lazy, and Craig left him in the SANFL before because of it

But ... The grade of the comp has never stopped him before, and it won't now, pre-season my friend

You don't have to believe me, but the great man plays on confidence, if he even looks close to playing well next week then get on ;)

Sando has a plan and clearly the plan was not to win the "NAB"  forget anything you saw yesterday ;)

Some concerns have risen to my team this weekend

Chris Knights- locked him in all preseason, got him in euros and even drafted him in my fantasy elite team and havent seen much of him. Didnt get a game yesterday and I am worried about his js round 1 let alone his scoring potential

Never looked at knights he is as good or better than varcoe, byrnes, kennedy, krak, nicoski, karnezis, I guess start the one or two who are named for round 1 and have looked the best and a sideways / downgrade trade to knights is possible when knights comes in or fires up?

Brent Staker- seemed like the perfect fwd/def rookie but seems to be still injured and probably not fit for round 1

Out for first few rounds this has been reported on for awhile i think? hopefuly a def or fwd rook guns it and can be downgraded when staker has played his first 2. could work out nicely

Matthew Luenberger- Played a half of footy yesterday and with Stefan Martin and Billy Longer at the lions if he isnt 100% fit i dont think the lions will risk him. Even if he does play martin and longer will take a lot of rucking duties until luey can find some form so that means hampered scoring for him while he plays up fwd.

Was never having him in my starting side without a FWD DPP Ruck enter COX. Burger will get fit and will make a ton of cash so start him or bring him in after a few games but think you have to have him. But I will have cover for him from day 1.

Jarryd Roughead- have seen him at chb, ruck and fwd this preseason. This copping and changing is worrying andd could bring about some inconsistency in roughy's scores this year.

Think he will ruck more than Hale and play fwd when he is not rucking? not sure what they are doing with him in NAB but he is their best ruck and a dangerous tall fwd more than anything else is he not? they got lake and gave up draft picks to WIN THE FLAG this season, so whatever Roughead is BEST AT that is where they will use him you would think?

Nathan Fyfe- had him pencilled in all preseason hoping he would bounce back to a 105+ average and again is in euros and elite side but am starting to get some major concerns after he copped the no.1 tag from carrots yesterday for an ugly 37. One he looked very average and rusty and two if he cops a tag every week how wil he handle it. Carrots, Jones, Raines ect have all got the better of ablett and co in the past will this prevent fyfe from breaking the 100 mark :/

Not ready - Murph and so many others break out - then push into elite category - then have to spend a season or two consolidating which often means learning to deal with a tag. Hill still the first tagged at Freo for mine but Fyfe could cop a few tags and should suffer for it. especially when its crowley, raines lrt or carrots. but even GCS and GWS and Melbourne are developing handy taggers...
Fyfe will be a gun i reckon 100% but doubt he will rank in the elite bracket in 2013, then there is that shoulder...

There were some good signs this weekend like Hanley, Martin and co. smashing it in sub affected games or Greene scoring 83 in 68% game time but the concerns above have ripped my dt to shreds

yorgis

crows almost had their best 22 yesterday 'cept sloan and petrenko i believe . looking to settle team for rnd 1 and did'nt look

too good. maybe they wanted to be back home to watch the clipsal 500

Crowley going to tag his own teammate is he? :P Also, would love to see Lewis Roberts-Thomson tag through the midfield - he's played every other position so far! But I don't think it will be happening...

You're not the first I've seen do that on these forums :P Reeling off the taggers becomes a habit!

Fyfe needs to show 125+ scores to tempt me as an outright midfielder. He doesn't have a high enough ceiling for my liking.

Bloody hell, may as well add Embley to this list now :(

How bad was the injury? I missed it.

It's a hammy and they gave him the vest straight away. More precautionary than anything else I'm hoping but we'll find out more as the week progresses.

not bad soft tissue, hammy i think.  would be precautionary more than anything, but this is why Ball or Moloney, they just seem HARDER.

not that Embley is soft he is just not as hard?

He's an older bloke, will probs miss a couple even if it is very light. Sucks, he was going to be a great cash cow :(

Will probably go Whitfield over him at this stage.

Colliwobblers

just one more game like the last and you would have to seriously consider him wouldn't you, even if it had to be for the spot most of us have Wines pencilled in for

elephants

Haha alright. So hard people won't get injured?

If anything, being 'harder' at the bottom of packs would make you MORE susceptible to injuries, no?
