The F.A.R.K.

Some concerns have risen to my team this weekend

Chris Knights- locked him in all preseason, got him in euros and even drafted him in my fantasy elite team and havent seen much of him. Didnt get a game yesterday and I am worried about his js round 1 let alone his scoring potential

Brent Staker- seemed like the perfect fwd/def rookie but seems to be still injured and probably not fit for round 1

Matthew Luenberger- Played a half of footy yesterday and with Stefan Martin and Billy Longer at the lions if he isnt 100% fit i dont think the lions will risk him. Even if he does play martin and longer will take a lot of rucking duties until luey can find some form so that means hampered scoring for him while he plays up fwd.

Jarryd Roughead- have seen him at chb, ruck and fwd this preseason. This copping and changing is worrying andd could bring about some inconsistency in roughy's scores this year.

Nathan Fyfe- had him pencilled in all preseason hoping he would bounce back to a 105+ average and again is in euros and elite side but am starting to get some major concerns after he copped the no.1 tag from carrots yesterday for an ugly 37. One he looked very average and rusty and two if he cops a tag every week how wil he handle it. Carrots, Jones, Raines ect have all got the better of ablett and co in the past will this prevent fyfe from breaking the 100 mark :/

There were some good signs this weekend like Hanley, Martin and co. smashing it in sub affected games or Greene scoring 83 in 68% game time but the concerns above have ripped my dt to shreds

i'm not making any judgements until next week really as teams and player roles will be more similar to round 1 teams not to mention some of the games have been played in high temps some of the senior players would not be interested i imagine

though Zorko has replaced Rocky in my team

What :o ???? No Rocky, what is this.

Yeah it's not looking good mate! In regard to Fyfe, I wouldn't be overly worried. He stormed it against the crows last week and he's coped the tag in the past and still performed. This is 1 game. That being said its still a concern. Fyfe is going so cheaply for his talent at the moment that if he doesn't perform you won't lose anything on him, you just won't cash in. I'd stick with him.

think Zorko will do better

Jukes

I reckon Zorko and Rocky are must haves, but imo Rocky is much more necessary. Zorko at most will get like 105 but if Rocky fires could go about 114.

Any worry about Jack Redden, one tackle in two weeks :-\

Also Fyfe, wtf?

I know it's pre-season and Walker's form does not bother me, but these other two any worry?

Or do we count the so called "nab" as nothing and stick with our plans?

Will Zorko get as much midfield time as last year with Rockliff spending more time in mids and Moloney also in there now? That's my major concern with Zorko, but now he's in the leadership group he's got so much going for him.

Don't be too worried F.A.R.K. Remember it's only Rd 2 of the NAB. I won't be certain if my team until about 7pm on Friday night of Rd1. Alot can change between now and then.

Matt_352

Leuy played fantastic in the last qtr

pommyadam

Lions are managing Berger, to quote their injury update from a couple of weeks back... should be right for rd1 though

majorly concerned about Stanley's lack of appearances (should be right without a preseason, as he was last year) but concerning that he's not appearing
also concerned about Fyfe's performance

pondering a double trade: Stanley -> Grimes/Duffield and Fyfe -> other mid

Windigo

I'd be more concerned about Stanley lack of appearances above anything else.

Well, when people hype up a player to huge levels, when he puts in a lack luster performance it hurts doubly hard.

As for Redden, he had his customary 20 touches. I dunno about anyone else, but tackling is all about intensity, hardness and hunger. I wouldn't be going 100% in a NAB game that means nothing.

It's still march 3, so ... what to make of anything, except Paddy's game yesterday, the rest count for kangaroo dropings
