Could Scott Lycett be a decent foward rook to start the season of if Naitanui isn't fit for play? Would have to play at least the first 5 rounds to make it worthwhile which I guess is determined by nic nats fitness

Jukes

Would prefer Jon Patton for 18k moar.

Both could be options for sure

Windigo

Gunna need some more NAB form to make a decision on him. So many mid priced options up front this year.  :P

seriously considering patton, wouldn't touch lycett, job security is questionable and thats still a lot of money to spend on a rook.

macaffer is a lock, then it is tough to choose the next one, adds weight to the strategy of deepening the fwd line with those mid pricers i guess.

ronl

I personally can't fathom throwing money after Varco, Byrnes, Knights etc. all of whom have a history of failure, or they wouldn't be finding new homes.  I mean, good luck to the guys who pick them, but all three have burnt me in the past.  I'd rather take a punt on young Patton and maybe Daniher.

good point ronl but with 44 trades its more about who will play and score something and make some money, getting rid of them when and if they get injured will be easy enough.

I would take a rook over them too, if a rook who will play every game while I own him can be found....
