As an Eagles fan I think he will. Showed a lot in the WAFL just couldn't crack into the side because of the quality ahead of him.

Also heard from a Port fan (KoopKicka) that he should play and more importantly won't play a lockdown role.

Afl experience + well scoring role/position = great pick.

Docherty or Stevenson for D8?.

I have Hartlett and Pittard, both from PAFC, in my Defence.... so leaning towards keeping Docherty!

Stevenson easily. I'd rate him over Pittard and Hartlett easily. Best backline rook for 2013 imo.

Will average 70-75.

Docherty meanwhile has very questionable JS and won't score that highly either.

I think Port had him taking a fair bit of the kick ins after a point in Nab1.
I've been taking a little notice of this with the rookie defenders as it shows their importance to the team, to some degree.
Goodes took a lot in nab1 and last night Johannason( however its spelt) took some .
