^ Get used to seeing that.

2011 games: 16
2011 average: 74.8

2012 games: 17
2012 average: 83.1

Centuries: 5 (100, 101, 103, 111, 112)
Sub effected games: 3 (39, 46, 82)

Averaged 89 unsubbed.

When you think Tom Liberatore, you probably think of some guy passed out on the street. What you should be thinking is a player on the verge of a breakout season.

This young gun averages over 20 possessions at just 20 years of age.

This young gun averaged the 14th most clearances per game out of anyone in the entire AFL in 2012, and would have been higher in the rankings if not for the sub effected games. Let's put this in perspective. That's more than Chris Judd. More than Simon Black, Lenny Hayes, Shane Tuck. More than Trent Cotchin.

Libba averaged the 35th most contested possessions of any AFL player last year. With another preseason under his belt he's only going to be fitter, stronger and more equiped to improve in this area.

His decision making is first class and he is usually a good user of the ball with his quick hands or his accurate left boot. This will ensure that he won't be just an inside midfielder, unlike Wallis. He is capable of hitting up targets or kicking a few sausage rolls.

The Bulldogs have moved Cross out of the middle to fast track the development of Wallis and Liberatore, and their improvement has been rapid. Libba now has 33 games under his belt we should see him play a full season, sub free.

Prediction: You'll make 75K from him when he raises his average to 98.

If you're considering some mid pricers who can be easily upgraded to a premium then Libba is a fine choice. Find another couple like Libba and you'll be able to upgrade all 3 of them by downgrading just one rookie cash cow, using only 4 trades.

Wallis had some great scores last year, going to interest me greatly as to who gets more ball/score, Libba is under priced but as a third year player is he worth the M5-6 for the bolter tag?

Will have to be upgraded anyway but Linna has to rise a decent price while scoring well, watch list for me

Wallis hasn't got as much improvement in him as Liberatore does. Mitch is a contested ball beast, but Libba matches him in every area except free kicks, and is slightly better in most areas including contested possession. Mitch is handball happy and cannot kick as well as Liberatore can so he has a lower ceiling.

Great stuff, so have I made a mistake on banking on Wallis in AXV :-[  No kicks :-[  Just need him to tackle

Libba can be my breakout in DT

Definitely not a mistake to get Wallis. When Boyd is gone and Mitch is at the peak of his powers he is a good chance to be the highest possession getter in the AFL. He has higher upside in terms of possessions. He was the biggest ball magnet ever in the juniors.

Libba can find plenty of the ball himself, and is currently matching Wallis but I don't think he'll keep it up forever. Libba has that little extra bit of class though, so that's where his scoring will come from.

Neither of them have had a 30 possession game yet. In a few years time it will be rare for Wallis to dip under 25 touches, while 25 is all Liberatore will need to score 120's.

They'll both be absolute stars and the easiest way to put it in terms of how they will score when comparing them to current players is Wallis = Swan while Liberatore = Pendlebury.

We all saw the breakout coming but I don't we expected him to be this good.

2014 lock?

Awesome to read after the fact.

Picked him and his partner in crime (Minson) up round 3 and never looked back :D
They were like Thunder & Lightning all year!
