Any thoughts on Rowe @ F8?

Lots of 13ers down back and mid. Maybe get JPK back instead of Swan to balance that out.

I don't mind Cox in ruck to start and presume you'll bolster Fwds with NicNat after a few rounds.

Also when Leue is on the bubble Cox could go fwd.

Also maybe Hepp to another 'H' for bye balance.

Yeah not worries about the byes I have put thought into that and am happy with who I have now. If I start with Kennedy I'm only gonna trade in Sean before the byes anyway probably so no need to swap. I've worked out that on some lines there's teams that I can't trade in from

Nic nat will go into my forwards as will cox. I'll trade in for someone like sandy when he comes back by trading a fwd for a ruck.

I'd rather Rowe as adobe grade option. I don't think he will play early or often so witty/ currie to rowe would be best. Then I'll have coz/Nic nat fwd to use the dpp in those injury situations.

So yeah byes are all under control don't want Rowe to start with when blues have kruezer Warnock Hampson

And the other H's will be trade in options. I think Heppell can go 95-100 and I want to get him in early haha

Defense is good, 3 prems is ok since it is the least scoring line and a few good rookies.

Mids are very strong, liking the look of them especially the big 3 at the front. I take it you're like me and dont worry about byes at the start of th year?

Rucks are probably the strongest you can get so very impressed there

Forwards well looking a bit weak with with Martin at F3 but if Kennedy can get back to avg 85+ and Martin can get over 100 then you will be absolutely laughing The only thing i would do is change Neade to Rowe that way if any trouble happens with your forward line you can just chuck Cox in there and when you upgrade a ruckman can just put Cox into frowards.

after all that ill give ya a 9/10. Great team mate

I am still not convinced with Buddy at that price. He can be hit and miss. So I am hoping he will drop in price before I pick him up.
Agree with Cortez. Get Rowe in at F8 for flexibility.

DEF: Looks good, pretty similar to mine but I doubt Colquhoun will play, he's just too skinny (72kgs).
MID: Solid here, guns and rookies seems to be the norm in the midfield.
RUC: Good strategy to go for, not many people going 'set and forget' in the rucks, could win you games.
FWD: Weak, and I'm not sure about Franklin. I'm confident he'll drop in price but i'm not sure if it's enough to warrant not starting him....Tough one...

However, I would make one change regarding your forward/ruck lines. I would downgrade either Ivan Maric to Sam Jacobs or similar, or downgrade Franklin to Zorko. This would give you enough money to upgrade Shannon Byrnes to Pat Karnezis (Byrnes will only average 50 this year, he's shown no promise in the NAB either, whereas Karnezis is training as a midfielder and will likely average 80), while still giving you enough money to jump on a rookie that fires in rounds 1&2, that you might not have already.

Nice team mate.

Can't really fault it. I've been adjusting my team back and forth between three and four premium defenders myself, but I think will go with the 3 and spend the money elsewhere. More points to be had that way methinks.

My only real criticism lies more on personal hunches than anything else and I just don't feel that Dusty will go large this year. I could very well be proven wrong, but reckon he has all the talent in the world but there is an attitude there that suggests to me his full potential will never be reached. Or maybe I just don't like the guy.

The other issue I have is with Maric. I traded him into my team a few years back when he looked like he was about to take the next step(at Adelaide). I forgave him for 2 sub-par games after the trade into my side then I sat down one wintry Saturday afternoon to watch a Hawthorn v Adelaide game on the telly in Launceston and witnessed Ivan "Pat Rafter" Maric play almost 95% game time for a total SC score of 5!!! Immediately on my "don't care if he starts scoring like Ablett, I will never have that spud in my team again" list!

Anyway happy coaching.

nothing wrong with this team just some of my opinions

you have a lot of round 13 bye players which could bite you if you're going for overall. Especially that midfield.

Pretty heavy in the rucks. I'm not the biggest fan of Maric, can't see him repeating last year. But that's just my opinion.

Fwds are very solid. Martin is the make or break of the forward line but nothing wrong with that selection

some minor changes

Swan to Murphy in the midfield. doesnt change bye situation but that doesnt bother me at all. frees up cash and with all the hilaria around swan this pre season, even though i dont think he will be affected, he still might have a down year. but yeah frees up alot of cash for little to no loss of points.

coloquan to pittard. feel more comfortable with pittard. mature player over skinny rookie. played some mid time on the weekend and had a good scoring game.

byrnes to karnezis. wasnt all over karnezis straight away like many others. however byrnes has done nothing, varcoe i like the idea of but he hasnt been good either. karnezis has been killing, playing on a wing and browny even got him a mention on the footy show. so i think he is a much better scoring option then byrnes.

they are the three changes from the last update. good? bad? anyother suggestions with the remaining cash?

im thinking about luke brown for my defense? crows fans? hows his JS and scoring. wasnt there a retirement in defense that he can take over from?

also dont need to comment on my bye situation. its under control :)

Team quite solid now.

Martin at F3 is the only real worry for me bit of a risk imo.  Inconsistent and wonder whether it will continue this year.

Only change I would suggest and up to you is use Rowe as F8 will allow you to move Cox forward and upgrade to a prem ruck who may be performing.

thanks ringo. dont need rowe as a way to upgrade my rucks. can just trade out a rookie in the fwds. lee or neade, and trade a ruck in for them, cox will just slide down. id rather have rookie fwds that are more likely to play then rowe.

also martin at F3 is cancelled out coz my  rucks are so strong. think of it like having maric and kruezer in my rucks with cox fwd. its just dusty instead of kruez. who would you take?
