Schulz is a 4 point drop from K Cornes, but I reckon he'll average more than Kornes this season. We only need 5 fwds covered and 5 mids as opposed to 6 mids and 4 fwds.

keeping in mind your highest scoring emergency for the same position is taken as cover.

if you don't have an emergency for the the same position your highest scoring emergency of a different position is taken at 50% score.

so mid emergencies are not a bad idea if you have a surplus of mid guns :)

unlikely given most teams have 2 mid utilities as well as the 4 mids...

i agree Nails, but after putting your 6 best mids on the part your 7th 8th adn 9th at 50% surely arent going to get you much advantage over a ruck fwd or def emergency at 100% if any...

just helpful maybe for teams with no depth in one given position, which in realistic AFL terms if a team is short of good defenders they would play a mid there, who would not do as well as a genuine defender hence the 50% :)

And he looked great at the Pies (based on mickey mouse NAB) so I reckon he might improve ever so slightly.

But real AFL teams don't leave themselves lacking in dept that much though, most teams have 2nd and 3rd tier fwd/def options.

It should be an added challenge of AXVs imo, making sure you actually try and build a team with def, fwd and ruck depth instead of just loading up on mids.

Oh ok, didn't think he averaged that high. I knew he averaged 80 DT, so assumed it would only be about 100 SB.

I actually think he might decrease slightly, there was a post about it in the P&T boards, but cbf finding it. He's solid cover though.
