RATE MY TEAM! Discussion & Feedback wanted!

hey guys, fairly happy with this team, done a few changes since last time & im looking for some feedback!
IL RATE YOUR TEAM BACK so lets get this going

BACKS: Goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, Hartlett, B.Goodes, Docherty (Terlich, Colquhoun)

MIDS: Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury, Cotchin, Wines, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney (Mitchell, Paparone)

RUCKS: Goldstien, Leunberger (Currie, McBean)

FWRDS: Franklin, Cox, Walker, Rockliff, Varcoe, Macaffer (Neade, Lee)

Personally, my main concerns are at D4 with the choices of Hartlett, Duffield or Birchall
ALSO at F5 choosing Varcoe or a rookie.

Def - Hanley? Heppell? Although Hartlett willscore well if stays on the fark'n park'n rookies seem fine. I reckon you can take a punt by NOT selecting all 3 of BG BG and HS. I think Shaw will be most likely to miss out in my team at the start and monies saved will be used to good effect elsewhere with little risk of him scoring much above his BE's.

Mids - 4 really good choices. Can't argue. Curious as to who you'll look at filling the rest of your mid slots - if Murphy, then why not jump on now when he is relatively cheap. I reckon he'll match Jelwood, Watson, Jack, Lids and is cheaper than most of them.

Rucks - I am a Gold non beleiver and think you're being cheap getting him. Just my opinion. Jacobs, McEvoy, Maric all look stronger (on paper).

Fwds - A lot to like. Byrnes vs Varcoe? Not many fwd rookies around hey? What about Paparone fwd if you rate him? Spoilt for choice in mids for rookies it would appear.

4 DEF premos is nice. iffy on shaw, if you aint sold on Hartlett get Duffy instead.
without broughton (rnd 17-23) he avg 113+

4 super Premos (125+ imo) very nice.

not sold on goldy, standard though. maybe McBean to Rowe as i think he will get a chance to play more.

4 fwd premos & varcoe is nice.

i've said my thoughts on the varcoe/byrnes situation. doesnt make any difference both will avg around the same, you aint going to keep either, so go for the cheaper option. make their money quick and get a "real" fwd premo in.

Def: 4 Def Premiums is great but you could downgrade Hartlett to Yarran to get that extra $120,000
Mids: 4 top quality premiums here 4 decent cash cows although i prefer either Toumpas or Loneragan than Wines if Viney is going to be used as a tagger i wouldn't start him.
Rucks: Goldy would want to improve on his nab Cup effort otherwise go  with Jacobs
Fwds: No Problems here
Overall:  Well balanced team you could downgrade Varcoe to Byrnes or Petterd and upgrade Goldy to Sauce or if you prefer to keep Goldy you could upgrade Hartlett to Duffield  8/10

Nice solid team at the moment,

Rookies still under discussion till a couple of full NAB cup games not the half games from Round 1.

Def: Solid with 4 prems - if worried about Hartlett you can look at Duffield, Hanley, Grimes or Hurn.  Reilly may also be an option but think he may cop a forward tag this year,  Or you could look at the mid pricers to gain cash Golby, Hibberd, Atley or Yarran.  Your choice.
Mids: 4 strong prems - With playing 4 rookies each week need to select the right ones who will play weekly and make cash,
Rucks: Standard but Goldy would need to improve to inspire confidence.
Fwds: Solid and stick with Varcoe alternates would be Byrnes, Pettard and possibly JJ Kennedy.

Well balanced team that I rate 8/10
