Could it be that he statistics are out because it includes teams that aren't complete, blank team spots within leagues etc? Those percentages just don't seem to add up.

Using Maric at 7% as an example you would need 14 players as popular as him to fill one ruck position.... And then you have the other starting ruck. Surely something is wrong...

hawkers65

Its because of the thousands of people who have no clue or pick auto fill. Its still a good guide.
40+ =lock, 30-40 =very popular, 20-30 =solid pick, 10-20 =partial smokie, 0-10 =POD

TheAnt

Remember 10% is atleast 30,000 people.

watching rich the other night gave me thoughts he could score like pendlebury if he was consistent. nearly every disposal is pin point and he does the hard things well. just gotta learn to take a god damn tag

I prefer Jacobs to Maric, 50k cheaper, going into his 5th season which is the season which ruckmen tend to breakout and in only 5% of teams. His 2012 consistency rating was 19.9, which is awesome (stat from SC Paige) So IMO he looks good for an average of 108-112. #LockedandLoaded

Just to put it into perspective Mr Consistent, Scott Pendlebury, has an consistency rating of 25

Is anyone else worried about Roughy's role? I've seen him in so many teams, even though he hasn't be training with the ruck group this preseason and in stead with the Fwd group. He also lined up off CHB in the Nab Cup with Schoey up Fwd (Its probably just a trial) So if this continues into the H'n'A season then you would expect his averages to drop to the high 70's and low 80's again like previous years.

Slightly off topic, how'd you guys find these percentages? I'm using a trial version of SC Gold and it doesn't say - is it only for paying gold members?

My POD's are Pittard; may be a better performer than Goodes
Mumford; given he's fit, it's a great price, especially considering the depth of rookie rucks for short-term injuries
Jordan Lewis; I suspect will have a better season than Stevie J and Daisy
Deliedio; subject to the Tiger's midfield structure; may be able to run free and Cotchin getting tagged

I think Angus Monfries may be one to look at; he's had a pretty good preseason and is set to have more time amongst the footy. However had a minor hamgstring strain last week (haven't read up on it) and is awkwardly priced.

It's in the coaches choice section of assistant coach, it is in the trial version too.
