Def: Like it. Suckling a risk but could be in for a big season

Mid: Cant Fault, very strong prem choices.

Rucks: Standard

Fwds: Not sure about Goodes. Has been injured, traditionally starts slowly and is likely to play mostly forward

Def: Nice backs with Suckling being the unique pick should score well this year
Mid: Strong Midfield can't fault it.
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Goodes is my concern here as he is not getting any younger prefer Walker,Zorko or Hawkins

Been thinking of taking out goodes not sure who to put in maybe Stevie j
Even though out 1st week other than him have not thought much also any
Ideas on Rucks will have 25,000 left if trade for Johnson

def - looks fine. can suckling step it up a notch this year?? vlastuin likely to be vested, better options elsewhere.

mid - 4 super premo's (125+) and moloney. good choices. not sold on moloney but i can see why people will get him.
i dont think he'll go 100 but 90ish is realistic. embley is a cheaper option and will have a similar avg.

ruck - standard. not sold on goldy.

fwd - starting 4 premos is great. goodes usually starts slow. varcoe is a nice option. byrnes will have a similar avg and is $35K cheaper.

MAYBE SOMEWHERE A LITTLE QUIETER!!!!!!!!!!  :P

Franklin is not a starter IMO, and I'm not sold on Roughy (though he is currently my F2...). Impossible start to the year, Buddy will drop in price. Upgrade around round 6-8.

Martin killed me last year and I'm not so sure he'll be much better this year - all the talk about great preseason etc seems like deja vu from last year. Will keep an eye on his NAB cup but not for me right now...

What's the appeal of Moloney over the cheaper Ball? Lots seem to have started on that bandwagon, I'm not sure about it...

God, Heater, Gibbs all the same Bye round, Heater started slow last year so I'm hoping for similar and he'll be an upgrade for me.

Just letting you know we are not pros just fans like yourself so do not be afraid to verse opinions in other Rate my Team threads.

Def: Top 3 prems - plus unique pick in Suckling, Continue to watch in NAB cup to see how being used. Couple of concerns with him he started as sub last year and had a couple of low scores when forward tag was applied to him. Output did not match his 2011 year,
Mids: 4 super prems plus Moloney
Rucks: Solid - Just need to watch Hawks use of Roughy - Was used at CHB in first round of NAB cup.
Fwds:  Solid - Not sold on Bartel getting on in years and his SC average has dropped every year for the last 3 years. Will Martin continue to frustrate and tease this year, Getting close to never again in my books.

Rookies will sort themselves out over the next 3 weeks.

I would have to disagree Ringo, look at Bartel's SC last year. He was very consistent with his scoring. Sure his average has dropped a tad but least you can be assured over a 90+ score week in week out from him

Hope you do not mind me using you as an example Lindo.

For coaches new to the forum you do not need to be afraid to post in threads.  You do not have to be an expert but just offer opinions as Lindo has done.  This way the forum continues to grow and we are free to disagree without malice.

Just a quick comment though on Bartel - Whilst he will offer you a 90 average is that the score you want from your prem forward. You would be aiming to finish your forward line with 6 of the Top 10 forwards and I do not think Bartel will be there, Just also watching him to see if he is getting less mid time which will also effect his scoring.

What players would could I look at if you not sold on bartel looking at Johnson but misses 1st game think buddy has to be in all teams regardless if price apart from injury he will be in my side for the whole yeah and RINGO I do post on other teams just  no where as much as u do😄

Sorry Ricko - had not noticed you posting in other threads so apologies.
Regarding Bartel I would be tempted to Start with Chappy then trade him to Stevie J when you feel comfortable.  IMO Chappy may outscore both given that he is superfit according to reports from Geelong. He is not in many teams and may be a POD for you.
The other option and this is my Bias coming out is Zorko if he continues to perform in the NAB cup.

Also why are people saying suckling is a unique pick 2 years ago he was a must have so I'm hoping he can produce something similar this year did have Newman in as he was a must 2-3years ago to and now with him starting on the wing could bring his form back to the top

I love Zorko just thought with rocky might be a little silly to have both was going to post in your team Ringo but looks like u already have a cult like following thanks all for advice will look into all comments made
