Like the uniqueness in it mate with watts, Atley, Jenkins, Priddis and morabitto if all goes well they can be handy picks and excel . No risk no reward. Rate 8.9/10. Can you rate my team please

i really like this side.

backs - 3 premo's & yaz/atley. nice. 5 decent scorers. if atley/yaz can avg 90ish you'll be laughing.

mids - 3 premo's (115+) love priddis. fyfe (105+) upgrade once he makes some quick $$?? moloney is a nice POD, will avg similar to ball/embley and they are a LOT cheaper. isnt morabito finished for the year??

rucks - Big sauce will be a beast this year.

fwds - nice 4 premo's. every team should have Cox. Pav is great, but isnt he underdone?? U/G target maybe?? Walker is a monster and will avg 105+ this year. Dusty will get more mid time = more points. Wright is another option if you dont like Dusty. Jenkins big chance to be the crows fwd man. KPP dont usually score well.

overall decent side. very well balanced.
plenty of scorers on each line.
5 - 5 - 2 - 5

7.5/10

a few slight suggestions.
Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Watts, Atley, Yarran, B. Goodes (Docherty, Terlich)
Mids: Ablett, Cotchin, Shuey, Fyfe, Embley, Crouch, (Towers/Hrovat), O'Meara (Neade, Viney)
Rucks: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Rowe, Daw)
Fwd: Cox, Pavlich, Walker, Martin, (Wright/Robinson/Breust/De Boer/Broughton), Macaffer (Kerridge, Lee)

priddis - shuey. Both will avg similar scores this year (115ish).
moloney - embley. Both will avg similar scores & embley is $80K cheaper. both for the quick U/G.
jenkins - Wright/Robinson/Breust/De Boer/Broughton. either one of them will avg more then jenkins this year.

just a thought.

rate my team.

I dont like watts martin priddis and fyfe.

they are all questionable and there are plenty of other great picks ups that provide better out put and efficiency then them.

7.5 out of 10

Coloured as I see it - red = no deal, yellow = risky picks.

Pavlich I love and was in my starting line up but his preseason has been rubbish, probably much better off as an upgrade later on. Morabito did his ACL again (3rd time) early this year so even if he's back playing I would be surprised if it holds up well enough to make him worth it.

Backs no major comments, nice line. I'm seeing Brett Goodes all over the place now, I'm not sure he's been elevated to the senior list at the dogs? Want him in my team but last I knew he couldn't play... If he's upgraded lock him in.

Priddis, Moloney, Fyfe - all good players I'm just not sure that they stand up where you have them... Priddis as M3? He's consistent as hell but doesn't score big. Moloney and Fyfe could make a bit of cash but I'd rather have only one that you think could be an M8 keeper (Fyfe for me) and a rookie. Remember the majority of your points come from mids, most teams have a mid line that would demolish yours. Just being honest ;)

Martin - the perennial heartbreaker/SC frustration specialist. Will he finally break out and smash things this year? I don't think so, but keeping an eye on him. Could be worth it, but I suspect the maturity and the gas tank aren't quite there yet despite all the positive signs this year - the same songs were sung last year and he was a let down.
Jenkins - Interesting pick. Do you back him to go big and score well, either to make money or be a keeper - I can't see him going too much bigger than last year, in which case he's kinda dead weight. Better off with someone like Varcoe, or a rookie to make you some cash.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback! IO'll check out your teams and give feedback shortly.

I have made some changes, would really appreciate some feedback on the new team:

BACKS: Goddard, Gibbs, Watts, Yarran, Pittard, Docherty (L. Stevenson, D. Terlich)
MIDS: GAJ, Pendles, Cotchin, JPK, Ball, Crouch, O'Meara, K. Stevens (Neade, Viney)
RUCKS: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Daw, Rowe)
FWDS: Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, Wright, Varcoe, Macaffer (Kerridge, Lee)

I have not watched any NAB cup games so aren't sure on Rookies or roughies, so once agsain be blunt and let me have it!

Thanks

Ringo

Updated team is very sound

Rookies still being considered as we have only seen them in half games in the NAB should get a more accurate picture of the next couple of weeks.

Only issue I have with team is the risk being taken with Watts at D3.  May break out and will be a sound POD for you.

No other issues team which I rate 8.5/10

Nice. I like the looks of this better than the last side. Agree with Ringo that Watts could be a risky D3 but then again I have a Birchall/rookie D3/D4 so that's probably equally questionable as Watts/Yarran.

A lot of people debating starting Franklin or not, personally I think that the hawks playing the 7 other finalists from last year as their opening 7 games means that he will drop in price. So an idea might be dropping Franklin to a different forward (you had tex walker before, he's not a bad pick I think) which would give you money to upgrade Watts to a true prem, the likes of Shaw or Birchall, and probably even some change left over. Just a suggestion to consider, I like this team you have now.

Thanks Ringo. I just swapped Pendles for D Beams, not sure why but I had him last year and he was a gun. Hoping he can repeat

Ok, have made a few changes. Thanks all for your advice. Current team is below, with $193k left. Was thinking I could keep the cash as buffer for first upgrade, or use it now.

Let me know your thoughts!!!

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, P. Hanley, Yarran, Pittard, Docherty (L. Stevenson, Terlich)
Mids: GAJ, D. Beams, JPK, Cotchin, Ball, Crouch, O'Meara, Neade (K. Stevens, Viney)
Rucks: Jacobs, Leuenberger (Rowe, Daw)
Fwds: Cox, Walker, Rockliff, Wright, Varcoe, Macaffer (Lee, Kerridge)

Go spending!!

ubeaut

If ur happy with the rest of the team, why not spend the 193K on upgrading Stevens to Moloney?

Very nice. I would consider investing the spar cash into either Wright or Yarran to turn them into a keeper. But you could go with the investment strategy, if you're going for a league rather than overall I would probably leave it, if you're going for overall, I would invest it to be the best off from the word go.

Nice side. I would go Yarran to Atley in the backs. Nice POD with Beams and I think he will have a stellar season. Not a fan of Ball, I would go Embley over him. Neade needs to be a forward and K Stevens is too expensive to be sitting on your bench. I dont believe DPP matters in the first part of the season with 30 trades in hand.
Rucks are good, as well as your FWD's. Kerridge wont play but your rookies will be sorted when teams are announced.

Good luck!
