If you had to choose a FWD at F5 from the selected players who would you pick and why?

Chris Knights
Andrew Krakouer
Josh.J.Kennedy
Travis Varcoe
Shannon Brynes

Having a tough time picking one of these guys. Would love to hear your thoughts & opinions on them
Leaning more towards Varcoe at this stage?

Probably Byrnes, but I actually reckon JJK is the safest option. At least you know that if he stays fit, he'll score reasonably well.

Aaron8

hmm im unsure on Brynes hasn't played that many games over the years and don't know how well he will score at melb?
JJK is a good choice like you said if he stays fit he can score reasonably well and kick a bag

Jukes

f) none of the above

Can't see any hitting 80, can only see Varcoe going 75+ tbh after the first nab cup round.

So I'd go Varcoe, but preferably none.

Yeah, like I said, JJK is the safe option as you know he'll average 75ish at least. The others are at new clubs and have different roles, so it's hard to see if the scoring potential is till there.

I've actually decided to go with no mid-priced forwards, and have dropped a back premo to stack my forwards with 5 guns.

If Stringer's named Rnd 1, I'd go him over all these.

Windigo

Hm, that's a toughie...

I'm gunna rule out Krak, don't think he is worth it given his only ever had one DT relevant year.

I'm gunna say Trav, just because of the potential improvement.

ronl

None of the above.  None of them have ever really done much except the occasional  burst.

Windigo

Too early to pass judgement, you need to look at it with an open mind.

Well, you're not expecting them to go premo. That's why they're 200k cheaper.

agree with this. Not a fan of any of em. Patton will probably outscore the lot.

So,who's your F5,F6 suggestion than Jukesy?

Ricochet

Knights and Byrnes have potential to go 80+ but with both being at new clubs its too hard to gauge at this stage
