Just because they were early picks does not mean they are sure to be guns.

Trengove was the best player in the draft

Melbourne took Skully because they had Trengove locked at 2, because Tom was the Victorian he went first

We all knew Jack was better, dirty vicks >:(

Trengove the best player in that draft? HAHAHAHA stfu with your SA bullshower Tbag.

The best player in that draft is from WA and he was crushed that he had to go to Freo since he was a diehard Eagle fan. Wasn't even a first round pick. #20 - Nathan Fyfe.
Dustin Martin is better than Trengove. Cunnington is better and more chance of a breakout. Mitch Duncan, Christensen, Gunston and Lewis Jetta are all pretty handy too. Jetta was older than the other guys so that explains why he brokeout earlier. Menzel might have been the pick of the bunch.

Is it a coincidence or luck that Menzel, Christensen and Duncan look like guns already? It might have something to do with better coaches and players around them. That's why Trengove will NOT have a major breakout in 2013

Cunnington better than Trengove? you're joking right? You come here abusing people about their bias and telling them to stfu and then you come out with that??? some people on here.....massive rofl. after having gone to school with trengove i can happily say at the time of the draft, he was the best player available, tbag is right. He is so composed fir his age and has great disposal and is a leader amongst men. No one could see nat fyfe turning out the way he did so early, the kid is a freak ill give you that. Trengove has also been injured a lot lately, but i would say that he is on the same level Dustin Martin. Trengove is the next Jobe Watson trust me. all those other players you mentioned like mitch duncan and christensen do not compare to trengove, both now and back at the draft.

Anyways back on the Cotchin = Scully/Trengove debate. Scully has had a decent pre season and got the miles in his legs this time round, so i wouldnt be surprised to see him seriously up hos average this year. Trengove on the other hand has had a very interrupted pre season and i still wouldnt go near him yet, he needs another season to get seriously fit. Scully did look good in the NAB games and will be on my radar for the fantasy draft, but highly doubt i will be taking him in DT.
