DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, J. Grimes, J. Watts, N. Vlastuin (B. Goodes, D. Terlich)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, N. Fyfe, D. Martin, B. Moloney, J. Lonergan, K. Mitchell, J. O'Meara (B. Crouch, J. Viney)
RUC: S. Jacobs, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, S. Rowe)
FWD: D. Cox, S. Johnson, M. Wright, A. Siposs, T. Varcoe, S. Byrnes (B. Macaffer, J. Neade)
CASH LEFT: $31,700

Think this is going alright. I guess rookies will change and always do. But wanted to go a few more mid-pricers than in previous years.
Happy to wait the week for Stevie J. Probably only not sold on Wright, Siposs, Watts, Moloney and Lonergan.

Cheers

Ok two things standout. U have overspent a bit in the backs and underspent in the forwards and mids. I would reverse this.

Plus there are too many fallen premiums/potential premiums/midpricers in the mids (Fyfe,Moloney,Martin) Martin is better value as a forward so put him there and replace him with a Swan/Murphy/Kennedy/Cotchin/Watson/Selwood

So maybe cut Birchall or Grimes down to a rookie and use the cash in ur mids and fwds.

Rucks are great.

I like Siposs/Watts/Varcoe/Byrnes but maybe not ALL of them together. See how Siposs scores playing down back with Fisher if that's what he's doing. Watts should score well if he can run off his man in defence.

hmm.... i agree with a lot of what ubeaut said.

try D/G birchall/watts down to Yaz or atley & a rookie, or both yarran & atley.

most teams will have 3-5 premos (115+) in the mids. you've got 2. Dusty is better value in the fwdline.
moloney will avg similar to embley/ball. why not get either to save $$.

love the wright pick, i'd wait a week for Stevie J too.
like ubeaut I like Siposs/Varcoe/Byrnes but maybe not ALL of them together. very risky.
all will score similar IMO, and all will rise in price quickly and make you a ton of money very quickly.

good luck with your strategy.

rate my team.

J. Grimes, J. Watts
N. Fyfe, D. Martin
S. Johnson, M. Wright, A. Siposs, T. Varcoe, S. Byrnes

some really strange choices here.

it looks like you are trying to score 1900 points per week

whats with all the average players?

drop some of the dead weight and take a punt on some rookies

then upgrade the rest of your dead weight to good premiums

one of the worst teams I have seen here so far.

4 out of 10

Backs: Downgrade 1 of Grimes or Watts to open up more money and strengthen your mids
Mids: Would Upgrade Martin to a true Premium
Rucks Solid
Fwds: Stevie J is out for round 1 so you have 2 options bench him or leave him out and Bring in one of Walker,Hawkins or Martin who you have in the mids

Overall decent team just needs some improvement just think the forward line is a little weak 6.5/10

Bit harsh from cuz_crew I think. There are some fairly similar choices to a lot of the "great" teams on this forum.

With the constructive feedback from all you other nice people, I have changed to the following:

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, J. Grimes, N. Vlastuin, B. Goodes (S. Colquhoun, D. Terlich)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, M. Murphy, M. Priddis, B. Moloney, J. Lonergan, K. Mitchell, J. Viney (J. O'Meara, B. Crouch)
RUC: S. Jacobs, M. Leuenberger (D. Currie, S. Rowe)
FWD: D. Cox, S. Johnson, D. Martin, J. Watts, T. Varcoe, S. Byrnes (B. Macaffer, J. Neade)
CASH LEFT: $28,100

Colquhoun: not sure on another defensive rookie, going with the DPP advantage and that Port may give all the kids a go...
Priddis: unique and one of the most consistent premiums over the last few years.
Stevie J: happy for him not to play round 1, will replace with Macaffer. He's a premium, so I'm not fussed I lose one round of no price change.
Martin: Think he's going to be a flat gun, but yes, better served as a forward.
Watts: If he plays half-back sweeper, will average 90. Mark my words.

Cheers

Solid Team here.  No real change necessary till ascertaining rookies. Vlastin is just a tad expensive given the defence rookies who should play round 1 who will probably score as well at a Cheaper price.  Just watch

Can not argue with you logic for selections

Well done.
