Hey guys first post on Fanfooty. Team at the moment is pretty undecided, still gotta watch the preseason.

Anyway, here goes.

BACKS:

(Going with the four cash cows, but considering swapping Ladson out for Urquhart if he goes well in next weeks game.)

Mids:

Selwood, Cooney, Armitage, Sidebottom, Martin, Barlow >>>> Trengrove Scully

(Im expecting Armitage to go big, but i aint really fully convinced. 400k for 3 games, although he played a great first game in the NAB and three others last year. Considering a swap for Cale Morton or Boak if he doesnt shine. Any opinions?)

Rucks:

Sandilands, Tippet >>>>> Lobbe, Charman

(Was considering Naitanui in the ruck and popping Tippet down forward but changed my mind as i am not convinced about Naitanuis scoring power once Cox comes back)

Forwards:

Riewoldt, O'keefe, Sylvia, Franklin, Rioli, Dangerfield, Moore >>>> Watts, Dennis Lane

(I dunno if Rohan will be playing first round, so for now ive popped Moore in.)

Now heres the thing, I have 203,500 left over and dunno whether to upgrade a few or let my rookies and cash cows start rolling before i start spending.

Some of my considerations

Ladson to Urquhart

Armitage to Boak/Morton

Rioli to Pavlich.

Armitage to Boak. Yes...Liek you said only 3 games and half the saints weren't there for half the times he did it. You'd get him at half his price

Rioli to Pav. Yes

Ladson to Urquhart. Up to you. I like Ladson better.

Backs real strong
Mids not too bad although don't like Armitage or Sidebottom

Rucks are excellent

Forwards not too bad

I am still not sure about the Rioli to Pav at the moment.

I have a gut feeling that Rioli is going to score real heavy this season when he starts playing more of a midfield role and for his price, if he can average 80-90, i'd take that. But there is the already established 100s of Pavlich, for an extra 100k.

Still not won over on either side to be honest.

Now considering trading Watts to Dennis lane, Freeing up some cash.

Then trading Sylvia out for Pavlich.

That should use up all my money though.

good backling except one too many cheap players, quite a weak midfield also the lack of ruckmen may hurt you, good forward line though!! would have kept sylvia..

good rucks, i think your backline is too uneven,not your highest scoring area.. probably dont need 3 premiums mayb get a gilbee or gram or carazzo for enright and make your mid better?

Made a few changes to the team. I guess you could say its more MPP friendly with the addition of Gilbee and Gram. Although im going to miss Enright, been in my team for the past 3 seasons and has served me real well.

Got 20k in the bank atm.

midfield alot better, and i know i said to but i wouldnt have gotten rid of enright, although your other backs are hodge and goddard and no way i would get rid of them either, so in the end i guess its the right move..
