Moloney or Embley or Ball?

Moloney
Embley
Ball

blues boy

Who will you be going for? Who has the better Job security? Who will make money the fastest?

Thoughts?
Cheers

I think Moloney out of the 3. Slightly more expensive but not a while lot of risk involved as there is with the other 2. Ball still on the way back from serious injury, plus playing in Collinwoods midfield, is Embley definately in West Coasts best 22?? While Moloney is locked into Brisbanes midfeild and is super fit and looked terrific last night. Could push a +90 average.

Embley's certainly in WCE's best 22, I just don't think he'll play the usual MID role he has in the past.

IMO:
Ball will average 85-95
Moloney 85-95
Embley 80-90

Embers, Moloney then Ball.

But another good NAB from the Bull may sway my opinion....

I think Embley is in WCE's best 22 but i also feel he might get the vest a couple of times!
Compared to Moloney and Ball who if 100% fit wont get the vest
Then i think Moloney has had the better pre-season out of ball and him. Which is why i am leaning towards Moloney

Moloney will average the highest imo. It's just if you can use that $$$ you save from going Embers over him.

Moloney: 86-92 (what will his permanent role be at the Lions? Is it DT friendly?)
Embers: 84-88 (age and durability is a big issue. Will he face the red/green vests much?)
Ball: 84-88 (how will he react to the development of talents such as Beams, Sidebottom, etc)

Several question marks over each of them, would still prefer Moloney though with those considered.

I have Moloney and Embley, strongly considering dropping one of them to Jesse Longergan though for some cash.

betch ya

all 3 should have great JS as long as they are fit/uninjured. i think moloney has the most upside out of all 3

Had all three at one stage, then went to just Ball and Embley.

Now have got rid of Ball and going with Embley and Moloney.

TBH it will probably change, and i'd like to see a full match scenario in the coming weeks!

Pretty much the same story...started with Ball(will he be fit enough for round 1), then Embley(looked slow, didn't impress), but after seeing how fit and raring to go Moloney is...wow!

I really need to see Ball in the NAB Cup to select him. If Moloney keeps up some good form, he's $40k cheaper... not cash to be sneezed at. I'll probably pick one of them. That said, Embley is a lock regardless of your strategy. PB in the 3km time trail, played round 1 of the NAB Cup, gets a week off in round 1 (because Eagles play on the first weekend). Can't believe people think he'll get vested. Watch for Daniel Kerr to wear either colour of vest, when he returns. But with him looking likely to miss Round 1, it makes it even more unlikely Embley would start as a sub and as mentioned, he's in great physical form so unlikely to cop the red vest.

Barring a shock I'm starting Embers and Moloney both just makes sense, will score well, in best 22 and make cash. They have it all n our new 44 trade world.

Ball comes with a bit of risk so is a distant 3rd imo, not a poor pick but you'd have to be going with 3 mid-pricers to include I reckon.

Moloney looked the goods last night. Would take him #1, Embley #2 and Ball #3
