I'll be backing Admire Rakti and Bande, the two Japanese horses running in the CC.

The ran second and third respectively in a race in Japan called the Hanshin Daishoten behind a horse called Gold Ship, they beat the rest in the race by 6 lengths

Gold Ship will be the favourite for the Arc de Triomphe, the most prestigious WFA race in the world and is considered on of the best middle distance/staying horses in the world

At $21 and $17 respectively, Admire Rakti and Bande are over their true odds and the only difference is the weights they were given, but with Craig Williams likely to ride Admire Rakti I will be leaning more that way, even though he has 3.5kgs more than Bande

If he does not ride Admire Rakti, which has been offered to him for the CC and Melbourne Cups, he will either ride Bande or Dandino.

Had Dandino had a bit better form in Europe over their summer I would be on him now for the Melbourne Cup, but want to see how he goes in the CC before committing to take $26 on offer to back him now, remembering he had the runs in the CC (2nd) and Melbourne Cup (5th) last year and ran well in both races.

He did run well in the St Ledger in the US  at 2700m about a month ago but I am unsure how strong that race is.

Well Admire Rakti's win was painless, with my other 2 picks out it was an easy watch, gun ride by Zac and a good collect.

have it in all ups Caulfield Cup into Melbourne Cup and separately with him winning the Caulfield Cup and Fawkner winning the Cox Plate.

Manikato Stakes night and Im on Lankan Rupee @ 3:80, put a bundle on him at that price!! HUge race though with Buffering and the other best sprinters in the land in this!

Had a couple of winners Aleady at the Valley though tonight :D  Like a Friday night punt after work at the local whilst downing a Coopers Sparkling Ale. But this is one of the biggest sprinting races of the year!

My tip is to stay away but. I do like Caravan rolls on, smart horse. He's your Man looks a type in the Mackinnon.

Tempted to go Smoken Joey because he is a serious racehorse now fit and he races well fit but, huge weight has put he off this Handicap race. Hucklebuck me local boy to win that one! Smoken Joey right there for a place? Think so b ut has 1.5 kg too the next horse

Perhaps Catkins is the best bet at her odds of, which we never see

Had 1st and 2nd in the first 4, had 3rd and 4th both for 4th- late mind changed cost me 20% of the first 4  :'(

Signoff way too short for the MC, will be backing Protectionist and having a saver on Red Cadeaux. Already have a stack on Admire Rakti which I backed for the MC before the CC.

The Myer is a tough race, will be each way on Politeness.
