Ok so here is a thread to discuss Horse Racing, i'll leave the "Spring racing carnival just for the spring"

Black Caviar and All Two Hard get their own threads because the Great Mare deserves nothing less

So we can discuss any and all things racing here :D  the big races have started again, I may do some previews on some races

All Too Hard takes on the Melbourne cup winner soon ;D  then the Blue Diamond Stakes, then race 8 I live Woorim first up ;)

tbagrocks

Anyone know why Shoot Out didn't run at Warwick Farm? Horrible rain I saw, but I had a bet on him :'(

Get around Green Moon ;)  will star this autumn

tbagrocks

So the Blue Diamond Stakes for 2yr olds worth $1 000 000 why will win the second biggest 2 yr old race

tbagrocks

Miracles Of Life won it, the good thisg, the fav was just too good

Get around Woorim in this next race, but don't bet on him again until his first run next campain ;)

Hey tbags, , was'nt All To Hard  very, very impressive mate. The way he put lengths on some very good WFA'horses. really makes me think he's ( maybe not yet )  something out of the box. And by that i mean, a future Saintly-Sunshine- Lohnro-Octaganal etc, or am i getting ahead of myself. Would love your take on that  mate. Also wasn't Miracles of Life a great racing story. Had me cheering all the way (even though i didn't back her ) , and i must admit, i shed a tear or two when she got home. I must be getting soft in my OLD age haha, but watching her dad was something else

On a different note mate, who,s your favourite horse u've seen live. And i don't mean best horse, i mean favourite horse. Mine are Kingstot Town for gallopers, and the great Poppy (Popular Alm ) for the trots.

By live i mean in your era, not  actually being on course

All Too Hard could be the best, up with Sunline and So You Think, could be the Black Caviar bias though, but sheesh he is impressive, when was the last time a three year old ran like that in the Cox Plate?

My favorite would be Might and Power, that Caulfield cup win and track record got me on board, he won races by 10 lengths

Also Saitnly, that horse was dam impressive, overtook Octagonal as a 4 year old, I think he won the last three, Cox Plate, Melbourne Cup, then came back with a last to first in the CF Orr Stakes and never raced again from injury :-[, he was looking unbeatable

Did you see Kingston Town at the track? That would be special

Dudge

Nah mate, a massive regret, but was buying a house and planning a family. Being from SA could'nt afford to travel, but followed them on TV and when i went to the races and trots over here. Didn't even get to see Black Caviar when she was here, due to work :(

T-bags,the connections of Miricals of Life are not ruling out a slipper start for her, but unlikely. How do you think she'd fair mate, would it be too much of an ask for her? I hav'nt really been following the 2yo races this year

tbagrocks

Tough thing for the two year olds to hold good form till April from the Blu Diamond which is the problem, impressing little filly though, has been just awesome so far! The young jockey is impresseve

I'd still expect some fine horses to come on the scene before April, but why not freshen her then take her to Sydney, nothing to lose and the ride of their life ;D

tbagrocks

With All Too Hard out of the Guineas I like a horse called Philippi

Pierro, It's a Dundeel and Proisir continue the rivalry in Sydney race 7, they are sure to battle out the big three year old races this Autumn

Who will get the first nod? The only horses to ever finish in front of Pierro are All Too Hard and Ocean Park

tbagrocks

Philippi was left wanting for a run, when he got out he finished very strongly, only finished 6th but follow ;)

The first four in Sydney 3 yr olds was

Pierro
Rebel Dane (never heard of him but his first loss, just!) Huge future!
Proisir
It's A Dundeel

Now this horse It's A Dundeel will be very, very hard to beat from 2000m and beyond, anyone see his finish?

The 2013 Melbourne Cup winner :o  Puissance De Lune resumes at Flemington saturday in the 1600m Blamey stakes
He's at $5 and is winning everything over 2000m but I don't think he will win first up

The 2012 Melbourne Cup Winner Green Moon runs in the Australian Cup and the way he finished after All Too Hard cut him off in the Futurity Stakes suggests he will be very hard to beat
The challangers look to be the three year olds who ran 1st and 2nd in the VRC Derby Fiveandahalfstar and Super Cool

Superstar Manighar resumes in the Chipping Norton Stakes 1600m in Sydney with Shoot Out the threat, maybe some improvement from Glencadam Gold

Unbeaten from 11 Perth Champion Barakey finally makes his Melbourne debue in the Newmarket Hcp, and no Great Mare this year

tbagrocks

AMAZING WOW,  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not one Waterhouse add on channel 7 ;D  he's not there today ;D  didn't sponser obviously ;D

Puissance De Lune  Dead heat for first but fantastic late run the last 100m, get on this horse in every thing he does
